Honestly they look like they're pretty decent lights we'll have to see how your Coral reacts to the lights and at least they come with a mounting bracket I can't say that about other manufacturers that should be a given

They look similar to the noopsyche k7 v3 and these are much cheaper too. I'm looking forward to buying one of the smatfarm lights. Thanks

I dont see how they can make a light so cheap plus bracket, especially with all those channels! Must be very cheap lens and it dosnt say what they use! They look exactly like noopsyche k7! I have noop and love them! How happy have you been with them? How about growth and color pop?

Hello! Just purchased mine, wont actually get them going until a week or so as my stand is still in progress, how have they treated you so far? Your video made me pull the trigger and buy it lol, do you mind making a video on the controls? Instructions aren't the greatest i have it installed over a 40 gallon innovative marine tank. Thanks agian for this video good job reviewing it.

Does it have a timer adjustment? How many channels can your program? Or is it just blue or white?
Yes, timer is adjustable. Ramps up and down for sunrise/sunset. It has 6 channels/colors you can adjust 0-100% independently.
I read a lot of ppl compare this to the kessil and the hydra AI..kessil is ridiculously priced considering they come from China just like all these other ones.
This may sound stupid but I purchased them and just got some today and I haven't even used them and I'm in love with them. I'll never buy big box brands anymore. There's no reason why something like that should cost $500. And don't even get me started on mp40s
@@buddybonbutt7510 all you’re paying for is the name. But ppl think they have to buy them cause that’s all that will work. I haven’t heard too many ppl having kessils last a very long time. Yet I know ppl with the so called China box’s still going after 5 years and know one guy really close growing coral like crazy with them being that old. Lots of different zoas! Pretty bad you can buy 3 of these units and still be under the price of just 1 kessil.

@@buddybonbutt7510 How do they compare to big box? I had radions ggg5 and noopsyche at the same time to compare and sent back radions! I couldnt see a difference in how the tank looked and the lights were blinding me since my desk is next to tank and below the leds! That didnt happen with noops and I love them!

@@jennanation6992 they’re pretty powerful, very tough to dial in without a par meter, and the spectrum color is pretty nice, I’d say ai prime has better spectrum
So the 24in par reading is that from the light to bottom of the tank or 24in off the top of the water cause if you have it abut 12in off water and tank is 24in your looking at 36in total

Not sure how you lock in the settings. The new ones don't come with a remote
I've still never even used the remote. To lock in your light settings... go into timer and set your light/spectrum %. Then back out to the main menu and they're set.

How do you sync the remote control to 3 of them
The master light will sync to the other 2 lights. Then the remote should control/adjust them all at the same time.
@@Cyberskrimps I'm considering buying 4 of these for my Waterbox 230.6 (170g display - 72"×26"×24") and I'm wondering can you have 1 master and 3 slaves? (Or 1 primary and 3 secondaries in "woke" terms.)
Yes, which ever light you designate the master will control the slaves. I know I've seen 4 synced together, working.(I can't off the top of my head remember if there is a maximum that can be synced) Four of the lights should cover your tank nicely.

@@Cyberskrimps just got them today and setup... Super easy to set the master and 3 slaves... working good so far... Now I just have to play around with each channel to get that perfect light

Hey question, I purchased these, is there a way to turn the Moonlights off automatically (can they Ramp/up or down to zero?)
If you're asking if you can turn off moonlight, you can choose when it turns off and on for both moonlight and sunlight
@@buddybonbutt7510 HI, thx for responding...Yeah, I wanted to RAMP UP/Down (turn them off completely at a specific time of night and on at a specific time since I sleep in the same room as my aquarium). However, the option to Ramp up/down for the moonlights are not available according to Smatfarm. I just use my Apex to turn the entire light system off/on the lights completely at a specific time.

@@jennanation6992 Hi, they are EXCELLENT...helped produced LOTS of growth...I decided to create my own lighting program with a combination of the Tropic Marin Program and Neptune Apex Control.
