Awesome things happen for awesome people 😊 All the upgrades and organizing is going to be life changing for your family. Food is a bigger part of our lives more than most realize and to be able to make things easier is huge and a big blessing. I’m so excited for you because you are so deserving ❤
Oh my goodness!!! Your kitchen looks great. Love the sage green, and that stove is a dream come true. I'm sooooo happy for you all. What a loving family. God bless you.
Congratulations! Work well done. Awesome . The stove is awesome . The kitchen is pretty and so user friendly. I am so happy for you guys. I LOVE paint! 😅 Wishing everyone a wonderful day.
I love the Colours that you have chosen for Your kitchen. They really look so nice together . Your new stove was a great buy especially for the amount of cooking and Canning that You do. ❤❤
When we remodeled my husband bought tools needed for the job. He than bartered the tools with the tradesman that we had to hire for their work and supplies. Great job on the kitchen.
When it gets that cold I drip all the faucets, and also run the water (both hot and cold) off and on and flush the toilet every half hour all night long. I also run the washing machine a few times at night.
Yes they were dripping but I don’t flush all night, my downstairs with washer doesn’t freeze just that upstairs pipe it’s so annoying. We put space heaters in the bathroom and by the wall. Sigh.
Your kitchen looks way nicer but if you were incorporating a shade of white you should have used pure white on the upper cabinets cuz the backsplash makes them look yellow !! But you did a great job improving your kitchen !!!
There are rubber gap liner type things that go between your stove and counter to keep food from getting between and making a mess of your stove and sides of your counters. That would probably work between the two counters where you have your bread making area.
Where do you get your energy my gosh you’re wonder woman God bless you. You did a beautiful job. I love the kitchen. I love that green. Very pretty. You’re very handy and it’s nice that you have kids that help. I’m sure you raised that way which is good thank you for showing us, your projects God bless you love you❤😘🙏
Great job, I'd add a black and white gingham valance over kitchen sink, paint brown cabinets and add white paint to brown counter and add black veining with paint. It looks great!!!
Maybe eventually currently this project is done and starting the next one. Oh the things to be done. I’ll keep it in the back of my mind though for the future.
White or off white door frames will look great, I know harder to keep clean. Or try o e door way with the brown and see what it looks like. I love the tile backsplash and everything else. Good job family
Great find on the stove...I had guessed $750 so i was pretty close but I used to have a restaurant LOL I would recommend finding the casters for the stove (they lock) if your floor can take it so you can clean and do maintenance - they can be a little finicky and need love but will last forever. Line under the burners since it is all open with tin foil and that will make cleaning a lot easier. This update will be a big help and just nice to have!
I think you should do the doorways black like the cabinets… so you don’t have too many colors on there. I feel like brown would take away from the gorgeous colors you already picked. 3 colors in a room (green, black, off white) is lots. Nice stove! Love it. ❤
You are right it would be prettier with just off white and green but with 14 people here daily on a farm I had to color the doorways. I just went with it so far it hides stuff well and wipes clean.
Awesome stove! A cooks dream! You are working so hard and so happy the kids are doing lots too! You have tons more patience than I would have…lol! Bravo!! 👏. 👋🇨🇦😊
Your kitchen looks beautiful! Well done! I am always impressed by you resourcefulness and your frugality - I guessed $2000, but you snagged that stove for a steal! Great find!
I found some round lights at Walmart 2 in a pack under 10 dollars they come with 3 AAA batteries. Adhesive on the back you push them to turn them off and on, you don't have to take them down to change the batteries. I use them in my pantry and closet's. Just a idea, you did a good job on the kitchen that stove is what you need for canning and cooking for a large family. The tin ceiling is my favorite, I found those lights near the paint department they have different kinds it might work under your cabinets.
I am a farm wife. With two grown children. My house is 130 years old and I have never gotten to redo my kitchen. The cupboards are so strong so I deal with it.
I like that shade of green, I have a similar in my hallway and I think it looks nice you’ve done a good job, well done to the painting girls also! Over here you have to have a blood test to confirm pregnancy then you get booked in for a dating scan usually around 6-10weeks, then you have a growth scan and all the other checks around 20weeks and that’s it unless like me you have gestational diabetes then you have to have regular growth scans. With my first I saw my midwife and gp alternate quite frequently but then with subsequent pregnancies they say because you’ve done it before you don’t need seeing as often. Unfortunately that’s as far as my knowledge goes as I’ve only ever had 2 pregnancies.
I think your kitchen looks so much brighter with the green and the cabinets work really well. My bedroom is that green color I love it. That stove is so nice! I would love a big stove like that I don't have a big enough kitchen for it. You did awesome on the backsplash. I think the stove is a $1000. I hope you have a great day!
Oh my your new kitchen is beautiful!! I love the color choices & yes it looks very homey like a farmhouse kitchen which I absolutely love. You & your children are amazing with all y'all accomplish. And at rock bottom savings. Projects....ughhh mine is packing up to move 800 miles. It'll end up costing me about the same or more than your whole kitchen redo. Uhaul truck, fuel & me doing all the labor. But Lord willing I'll get it done. And once settled I'll be right next to my daughter & grandkids again so I'm very happy about that.
Maybe do your facings and stuff in a white, but in a scrubbable paint. A flat paint will always show fingerprints/marks. Never mind. The Brien looks good. The tile job turned out awesome!!! I think you could use a larger double cabinet above where you put the shelves where you make your sourdough bread. Who knows you might run across a free one!
$1500 for the stove. I have LED strip lights that comes on a roll lighting under my cupboards and above and it really lights up my kitchen. Amazon sells it. And $800 for the stove is really a good price. Your tile job is very good.
Great idea! It would be great if you could have both a bathtub and a shower - one in each room - or maybe keep that shower and put a tub in the other one - or put a shower upstairs. Yes! I’ve lived in remodeling and new building projects all my adult life. And the house I’m living in the lower level just got finished after almost 6 years. The stairway got moved, a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a laundry room got installed. In the meantime the upstairs is still in the process. A couple weeks ago my kitchen floor was installed in the middle of a house full of company that had come for my sister’s funeral. My pantry floor still isn’t finished so the contents of the lower part is in my kitchen table area. Every closet is being done so everything is in the middle of the bedrooms. So, I can totally relate. We built a dream house in our other town and lived in the basement for 4 years - 1 of those years I used a foil roasting pan to wash dishes. We have also flipped several houses. My kids grew up crawling into crawl spaces sending wires and pipes up to their dad. So it would be nice to see the floor plan to see what can be configured. I like your plan. Think outside of the box. My husband was military but is also an architect and my daughter has a degree in architecture. When she was a little girl in AWANA she had to memorize John 14. She told the person who listened to her, “In my Father’s house are many mansions. I go to repair them for you.” Ha! That is all my kids have ever known. She did a wonderful job in painting techniques in our dream house. Life has taken a turn and we now live in a different state - in a different situation. I know in Heaven we will have a mansion that won’t need to be repaired.
lol oh what a sweet little girl! Out of the mouth of babes. We used to have a stall shower upstairs and took it out because of the pipe freeze issue. It’s a really weird set up we may end up doing 2. But our funds are limited. My husband really struggles when projects are mid project. I think if I do the smaller bathroom with the tub completely then decide more on the other bathroom. Showers don’t tend to be an issue here but toilets do. Another option is if I take out that long closet I could make a small bath off the older girls room. Oh the decisions!
I would have loved to have a stove like that when I lived on the acreage. I loved baking and cooking. I still do but now I am retired and live alone. I still like to bake and cook but for the most part, it's only for myself.
I'm watching your vids that I've missed & love this one, I'm so enjoying all your content! The kitchen redo is great, paint is a quick way to freshen any room, I love the sage green, also you did a great job with the tiling, love your new Stove too, good on you! Love your channel. ❤
I love the new look. I think you should keep the door frames white but I do know the struggle of keeping it clean and I only have two little ones. I’ve been watching a channel called Partin’s Heritage Homestead and her husband is T2, I know sweet pea is T1, but she l looked into milking her own grains from wheat berries because she learned that the commercial floor is stripped off so much stuff in order to be able to keep it “fresh” longer. She makes breads and tortillas, she even made a sour dough starter for her and her husband and it doesn’t affect his blood sugars. She made pasta with fresh milled kamut wheat and it didn’t affect him either. I’m not sure if you have a mill but it would certainly be worth looking into seeing if it will help sweet pea live a more “normal” life. I’m not quite sure how T1 differs from T2 as far as foods you can eat. I’m T2 but I can’t afford a mill 😂. It’s on my list though.
Yes a few years ago I ground all my own grains did sourdough ect. There’s a good movie called what’s with the wheat? After some issues we went gluten free and WOW what a change with autoimmune diseases and skin problems. So I’m making gluten free sorghum sourdough bread. But mainly just not eating too many bread products.
I love the green I have that color on Mt dining room and havent thought of color for kitchen I love what you've done I'v cooked on restaurants all my life your will love your stove enjoy your new kitchen❤❤
Magic erasers work great for walls!
I really like the contrast in cabinets and backsplash. You’re gonna love it.
Awesome things happen for awesome people 😊 All the upgrades and organizing is going to be life changing for your family. Food is a bigger part of our lives more than most realize and to be able to make things easier is huge and a big blessing. I’m so excited for you because you are so deserving ❤
Awww thanks so much! I hope you have a blessed day!
Your children are doing a wonderful job painting and the back splash looks great. What a stove you all are going to enjoy cooking on that.

Sigh.
I love the stove! Wow. I cooked on one like it at the hospital when I worked. Great find!
Kitchen looks wonderful! Nice job tiling. Well done. Val C
Thank you very much!
Wonderful... I love it
Thank you! 😊
Your kitchen looks way nicer but if you were incorporating a shade of white you should have used pure white on the upper cabinets cuz the backsplash makes them look yellow !! But you did a great job improving your kitchen !!!

Oh how pretty .I love black and white . matches your counter perfectly.
You're ready for spring now !
Lots of great improvements.
We should tell the weather I redid my kitchen so I’m ready for spring lol. Go away snow! 😂
Your kitchen makeover turned out so nice! Love the green! You could just hang a curtain in place of the door. I think it would look cute 💕
Thank you!😊
I like you. You make me tired. Lol. Keep up your awesome routine. Good job momma
There are rubber gap liner type things that go between your stove and counter to keep food from getting between and making a mess of your stove and sides of your counters. That would probably work between the two counters where you have your bread making area.
That's a great idea! Thanks!
I love love love your green!
You need a industrial set up for the fridge and freezer
How about painting the walls white and trim, etc green or another color?
I actually like the brown on the door frames. Very smart to do that.
Thank you! So far it’s covered a lot and wiped clean easily.
Wow! I love it! You are awesome
Oh my gosh it looks amazing!!!! What a great example of a family coming together to get things done!
Love it so nice do your door in green
Thank you so much!
Where do you get your energy my gosh you’re wonder woman God bless you. You did a beautiful job. I love the kitchen. I love that green. Very pretty. You’re very handy and it’s nice that you have kids that help. I’m sure you raised that way which is good thank you for showing us, your projects God bless you love you❤😘🙏
I love your stove
Great job, I'd add a black and white gingham valance over kitchen sink, paint brown cabinets and add white paint to brown counter and add black veining with paint. It looks great!!!
Maybe eventually currently this project is done and starting the next one. Oh the things to be done. I’ll keep it in the back of my mind though for the future.
My self I would have done a very light sage around the trims it would've looked good because you're having some sense of practical style
Wow, that’s a nice stove
White or off white door frames will look great, I know harder to keep clean. Or try o e door way with the brown and see what it looks like. I love the tile backsplash and everything else. Good job family
I obviously posted this comment before I finished watching lol the brown looks good, I didn’t think it would but seeing it I like it alot
What a steal for the store. Awesome find
Ur kitchen ceiling tiles are beautiful
Thank you so much 😊. One of the reasons we chose the house. I love them too! It’s like a piece of the past!
Great find on the stove...I had guessed $750 so i was pretty close but I used to have a restaurant LOL I would recommend finding the casters for the stove (they lock) if your floor can take it so you can clean and do maintenance - they can be a little finicky and need love but will last forever. Yes they had some furniture moving casters at the place I’m going to look next time I go in the city. Great idea!
I think you should do the doorways black like the cabinets… so you don’t have too many colors on there. I feel like brown would take away from the gorgeous colors you already picked. 3 colors in a room (green, black, off white) is lots. Nice stove! Love it. ❤

Thanks so much! 😊
Your kitchen looks beautiful! Well done! I am always impressed by you resourcefulness and your frugality - I guessed $2000, but you snagged that stove for a steal! Great find!

Thank you very much! Have a great day! I don’t know if I’m handy or to cheap to pay someone 😂
It looks great now. I love the stove.

Maybe use acrylic paint on your door frames, very washable.
We will see how this does then decide in a year or two what to try next lol.
Wowwwwwwww congrats!!!!! I've always wanted one of these in my kitchen but there's no way it would fit. LOL I'm so happy for you all!!!! So great!!!
Thanks so much!!
We have that. Its great
Hitches looks awesome
Your kitchen turned out great.
Thank you! 😊
LOVE your remodel colours
Thank you!😊
I like that shade of green, I have a similar in my hallway and I think it looks nice you’ve done a good job, well done to the painting girls also! I love the colours in your kitchen. You did well with changing up your kitchen. What's next for changing up your home? I am excited.
Sneak peek is at the end of this video but we may do something with homesteading first
I think your kitchen looks so much brighter with the green and the cabinets work really well. My bedroom is that green color I love it. That stove is so nice! I would love a big stove like that I don't have a big enough kitchen for it. You did awesome on the backsplash. I think the stove is a $1000. I hope you have a great day!
Thanks! Great guess!
kitchen is looking good painted last year
Thanks!
Oh that will be so special!
Love the sage color! Beautiful!⚘️⚘️
Thank you! 😊
I’m so excited for you!
Thank you!
Yes always keeping my eye out. That area was all gifted to us by my friend Sara.
The outside of my house is sage green with cream trim!
Pretty!
Your kitchen looks beautiful .
Thank you 😊
$1500 for the stove. I have LED strip lights that comes on a roll lighting under my cupboards and above and it really lights up my kitchen. Amazon sells it. And $800 for the stove is really a good price. Your tile job is very good.
Thanks! I’ll look into that!
What a Beautiful stove, you deserve that and you need it. The colors you choose are very nice as well. Great job, God Bless !!! 🙏🤗🙏
Thank you very much!
Do black door frames
WOW, you got a steal on that stove ! Congratulations 🎉 Kitchen is looking really great
Thanks so much!
Amazing stove! So happy for you guys! Kitchen looks great!
Thanks so much!
It looks lovely 🎉
Looks terrific! So happy for you ❤️
Thank you so much!!

I loved baking and cooking.
I still do but now I am retired and live alone.
I still like to bake and cook but for the most part, it's only for myself.
I’m sure you are a blessing to others with your cooking!
