Hi. The example given in the video is at 118 bpm. Phil Woods plays the song at 250 bpm and he has the same quick triplet in his song. Check it out on RUclips. Obviously you wouldn't play the triplets with the same note which would make it easier to play at a faster tempo but I included it to show variation when using just one note per chord. In later videos the quick triplet will have different notes which will make it easier to play on one breath at higher tempos such as a part of a scale run.
