Or, "How to get along with people at work."
The ultimate mystery! HAHA. In all honesty, Corrections is a Type-A personality profession. We all come from different walks of life. We have to find common ground and work together because we are all we've got behind the walls. I have to trust that you have my back and you need to know that I have yours! Stay Safe!
Very informative 👏
The Offenders. Is what i call them
Hi Sir can you please give me a few opening sentence that we can say to approach a Angry inmate. I have a interview coming. any help is welcome. Big thanks.
There's a training on a book called verbal judo super neat
Always a topic that needs to be heard... I shared this around some.
They prefer us to cuss in a minimum to medium considering they do it back and we’re all grown men. It’s fun too because they take it as respect when it’s in a playful way
Awesome thank you.
I like your disposition and intelligence.
Just teach them the old fashion way
Let's see how that works in the Cook County Jail; SIR! HAHAHAHAHAHHA
It works in all jails. Cook County Jail or the toughest prison in America. A inmate is a inmate. If the Officer can't communicate or doesn't have the patience to communicate, then Corrections probably isn't the profession for them. Stay Safe
@@stevemaynard2015 It does work. But, when working with people that think they will live no longer then the age of 25, no, that shit doesn't work. What works is an old school slap in the face. One thing you have to understand is county jail and prison are 2 separate entities. I only have years of experience in a county jail setting. I think you must be admin and gave all the toilet paper out when you did you few years before you made rank.
Is it ever acceptable to insult a corrections officer in public?
