    You are extremely resourceful and talented for the way you have outfitted your boat. What is the brand name of your boat? It looks like Parker or Defiance.
    If you have enough room on each side of the engine you could install a swim step on each side of the motor on the transom and use those to pack extra fuel for longer trips. You could get 2 plastic 5 gallon jugs of fuel on each one. When not used for fuel storage you could put a smaller ice chest on each one to clear up deck space.

    Hi Cap. I’ve been away hunting with limited internet access, I’ve missed ya 😀 I love those “glass out” days and that water is so damn clear! My conversion from stern drive to outboard is almost done. The majority of the fiberglass works is sorted and the fiddle stuff has begun. I’ve ordered a 700gph auto bilge amongst other goodies. The new Suzuki 300 arrived a few weeks ago and I’m itching to see it all come together for summer.

    • @OutOnTheReef
      @OutOnTheReef  11 месяцев назад

      Wow cap. 300 Suzuki is a nice engine and it will give you good years of service and a 700 gallon bilge pump is good choice 👍

    • @Cammo-vp1gl
      @Cammo-vp1gl 11 месяцев назад

      @@OutOnTheReef I chose 700 gph in case I left the bung plug out, the theory is the pump should keep up with the water ingress to buy enough time to plug the hole 🤔. I was tossing up between Mercury, Suzuki and Yamaha. Yamaha 300 DES was $10,000 dearer than Suzuki. I figured I can buy a lot of fuel with the $10K saving. Mercury as priced in the middle but since I’ve had issues with two Mercruiser engines I decided to steer clear from the brand. How’s your pup going? Ours is getting big now and loves water 😀🍺🇦🇺

    you will get better garlic flavor by cooking your garlic ONE OR TWO MINUTES!
    any longer without stopping the cooking with some liquid like white wine and you garlic will burn bringing on a bitter taste
    best bet is to remove the garlic after quick sautee to flavor the butter or oil and returning the garlic to the dish when finished cooking all other ingredients
    soft breezes and blue waters!

      That’s some funny shet right there. Then we can truly find out if there were more than one made at the same factory, what do I know.? You never know, at least that was what I was thinking. The Crooked Pilot house is crooked and I mean crooked to shet. The video of his measurements - needs to go viral. How the F did they do it. Is the island that crooked too. I’m dying here. Crooked Island named just for this boat. Need to get some crooked sleep. The captain lucked out with a keeper. 🔥🤔. The only one I’d ever be seen in. Have to watch the dimension taking video. Ought to pin it.

      I think that factory was working on building my boat with the light out😆

    • @robertp7209
      @robertp7209 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@OutOnTheReef I’ve been thinking about this, so here it goes ; perhaps the factory had attempted to spot check the plant quality control by having a unit made with crooked panels, crooked assembly jig, basically a crooked construction, to see if quality control can catch it before it went out the door. Looks like the workers in quality control were blind as crooked bats. Regardless, they figured just in case the bats were human instead, but asleep, heck all the boats look the same enough anyway, right, they did build a one off so solid and it sure is to take those runs, but unique, they wanted it back, the Jack A - A -S es they are. With the dimensional video you made, seems to me a VW beetle on the line would have passed, just kidding, makes sense to me but it’s my theory, seeing them up hear zillions,
      and Since you HAVE to have the only crooked pilot house boat in my opinion, the boat is so unique it defies imagination how no other of the pilot houses, not applicable to Steiger In NE, it’s the crooked pilot House with Captain and crew (at times), only, that makes these ridiculous runs regularly, and heck the projects can’t find any other on Y tube, I’ve looked, the food storage, garnish, prep, catch too when you get a crooked magnet to kill those sharks, basically better than being in a tiny house east side Manhattan, with AC, beer, the owner Captain combo crooked professional chef, crooked ice machine, and AC system so unique it doesn’t even exist to purchase. Never mind who has ever removed the monkey fur on the cabin walls, similar to Grady fur, and does how many coats to make it crooked? Like no other? Lithium batteries for the trolling motor, radar, auto pilot, and whatever else I left out. Plenty of gas and water, The electronics, radar with heading sensor, even unless I’m mistaken , a crooked door lock replacement? Drone coverage? In serenity heaven on earth which is why only the crooked pilot house can do it. I tell you, see a lawyer with that video, may have to transcribe it, and tell him you want to protect what is rightfully yours since you bought it, I’ll testify as your engineer any BS. It’s yours and you can do anything you want with it, And say anything you want, including protecting your crooked recipes . No shet I mean it, a complete line of crooked clothes, crooked rulers to measure fish, 13 in. Equals 12 in. 😲😂, oh that’s already on the market, crooked back massages with your drone recordings on the screen. At the same time no one can steel your videos of the runs and put another name on there with digital videography can do it, change crew too. Seriously, see a local lawyer first, doesn’t cost much. After all finally, who the F does what you do with a pilot house style boat 21 ft. Oh windlass - all chain deploy. Crooked pro chef too, I looked can’t find anything. That boat is a legend, the ONLY one of its kind - it seems. And it’s only the beginning for the Cooked Pilot House and it’s crew. Don’t forget the recipes. Reality TV channel series to come. You are some serious talented crooked editor of videos. Just as you are. You don’t even know it, even with proper face covering after all its crooked. Keep working on the crooked magnets. Lousy pesky sharks bother any other pilot house style boat, we need our dinner on a crooked pilot house boat cooking series , peace. 🧨💪🇺🇸.

      Yes, and it was great size. The only thing is I was a little tired and I was cooking. I did not want to rig up the Pole. But I know that size is awesome. Maybe next time. Thank you for watching and see you in the next video, Colleen 👍👍⚓️

    My late Mother would be 96 now, died 3 yrs ago, the best fisherman we had - always shaking the rod, and catching - would say a place like this was God’s country. We are catholic. This crooked pilot house with the single motor 200 HP running some 70 or more miles to get there and turn around to head home - and the other brand at 25 ft with the single motor all underpowered, all over the place where I am by the zillion, guys bragging about going 15 miles straight out into the ocean, then 16 miles, then 19 miles, like whats the big deal, just carry the life boat and satellite radio. I guess they like locking doors, big deal, yet the twin motor version rarely is seen, so extremely rare hey no one knows why, I do. Yet all have two steering wheels. I’ve explained this 1000 times, changing props does not create HP, only HP generates HP. And you have to step down into the drivers seat. Like sitting in a car. First they had 225, then 250, now guys are doing the bigger motorcycle motor from suzie and still wrecking them. Same exact boat, 25ft. And every time they say plenty of power. Yeh the cooked is shorter, but one can buy the other brand same length. And I’m not talking Steiger. And never seen a crows nest up there. If anyone knows what that is. There is only one crooked pilot house, and it sure is crooked check his video. The only one in the world ever made out of the same factory, No problem making that run. I could make it side by side with my twins same length walkaround different brand, old boat, and further still, faster, wide beam deep V 25ft full cabin, 205 gals fuel, and the other brand would stay at the dock - why? I digress, sure burn the fuel up. I tell you this, if my favorite captain here needs a tow, I’ll go out and bring him home, even if I loose a motor, I’ll bring us both home on one motor 200Hp, It will take a long time at about 8 knots, but heck I don’t care one bit, as long as he cooks me up dinner on the way back. Even longer in tough seas, any seas, I have plenty of reserve fuel always, only for the crooked pilot house and it’s crew. And I will never ever tow anyone, call sea tow or the Coast Guard. That may be a salvage job at that distance where I am perhaps, Long Island, NY, with the mighty North Atlantic straight into it. My insurance doesn’t cover it for sure. Both my motors are serviced by me and me only so 400 Hp total is on tap, counter rotators to lock down the stern, not much faster though we can enjoy the ride home say about 12 knots. 12 cylinders banging away on marine fuel. All the way to his ramp. Peace. 👍💪.
