- Phenomenal concert from the band Cacophony, this video has been on RUclips for a very long time but with such a bad audio, we decided to rework on the sound for a more comfortable listening and which does justice to these extraordinary musicians.
Effects used are EQs (biggest work), Multiband comp, reverb, limiter... You can hear an audio comparison at the start of the video.
About the band:
Cacophony was an American heavy metal band formed in 1986 by guitarists Marty Friedman and Jason Becker, and signed to Shrapnel Records. They released two studio albums and remained active until 1989, after which both guitarists forged their own solo careers and joined other bands.

This is a holy grail of speed metal. Cacophony was truely one of the most awesome projects on it's history, and 40 mins of concert in a pice is true gold. Where there is no base guitar on band... xD
If you listen to their song you can see overtime how insane they playing together it was, but when you watch it is not beliaveable xD

Hi John! well in fact it's because the original video quality is very poor and putting it in higher format was not a plus.. the goal is more to focus on audio .. and we hope you've enjoyed ;)

Wow the vocalist is really good here compared to the album, i mean the quality might be live and recorded on a potato but still its close to what it sounds on the album, shame it was recorded so poorly
