After I stopped laughing, I noted some errors on the criminals part..... If they bought re-sale, the amount would have been so much lower and possibly nobody would notice. As usual, people cannot control their greed and that is what does them in. Also, what was their plan to pay the very high annual maintenance fee's ($18,000)?
This always seems to be how they always get caught. They think they got away with it the first time so they go back again and go bigger. If they just stopped after the first time they probably wouldn't have been caught. But as you say, greed gets the best of them. I suspect they were planning to use the fire department credit card for those annual fees. Thanks for checking out the video.
I am back at Sheraton Vistana Resort through II getaways. When I booked on II, it says 1BR full kitchen. When i arrived to my room, they placed me in Cascades in the smaller 1 bedroom unit. The manager then argued with me that II placed me in the smaller bedroom based on the code and its not something they can see at the resort. I am very disgruntled because i thought I was going to the traditional 1 bedroom this room is the size of a studio. How can i tell on II the difference between the smaller and premium 1 bedroom? I would have never paid for this room had i know what i was getting. Is it possible that the resort has made a mistake? Though both the manager and the front desk staff talked to me as if I was crazy. The woman rudely asked me what makes me think i booked a premium one bedroom? Help 😢
Hello. When you look at your History page in the II website, what does it say the Unit No. is? When you booked it, did it have the Blue K and not the LK associated with the listing? Does the room you are in right now have a patio?
Thank you for the quick reply. On my history page it says Unit: HOBST (1 Bedroom) I am positive it said K, I am mindful to never do LK. It does have a patio. But they told me at check in I am confirmed to the smaller one bedroom not the premium one bedroom. I can't tell on interval site anywhere I can tell the difference between the two.
Thanks. Ignore the H in the code you have. According to the Marriott.com website for Vistana Resort, there are three types of smaller one bedroom villas. Two with a patio and one without. The two with a patio are OBST and OBOV. The smaller one bedroom without the patio is OBRS. The large/premium one bedroom with the full kitchen seems to be OBVI. It seems the resort did provide you with the confirmed code. I wonder if II has this listed incorrectly when making a reservation? Unfortunatly once you confirm you really can't see what the system indicated in the way of the kitchen. Does your confirmation email show anywhere that it included an oven? Only the large/premium one bedroom includes and oven. You may want to contact II about this and have them confirm. If their reservation indicates it should have been a full kitchen premium large one bedroom and they have something wrong in their system for OBST. You could try and ask for some form of compensation. Calling the regular phone reps probably won't help. I suggest contacting their Social Media liaison. Here is a link with information on how to contact them. @@DestinationTimeshare This makes sense and thank you for providing the email address. This is complicated because the smaller one bedroom villa I am in does in fact have a oven, dishwasher ,and balcony. It actually has everything that a premium one bedroom villa has. The most significant difference is in square footage: 470 sq ft and the premium one bedroom villa (855 sq ft) is the square foot. And possibly a whirlpool in the premium unit. My confirmation does not list a whirlpool. Perhaps the difference is whirlpool and not oven? In May my code was HOBVI and I had a one bedroom premium with whirlpool. This time my code was HOBST and I was placed in the smaller one bedroom villa. This room is more like an extended stay room and extremely insulting.

Jeremy should teach them how to use their point wisely.
I know I'm 4 months late to this, but doesn't Jeremy already have a teachable class on MVC points?
