    Thank you for the tutorial. Unfortunately, when I import my alembic to clo3d, my avatar is rotated backward and I can’t animate. I tried to use it on blender transmission-apply-rotation also with axis mapping then when I simulate on clo, my garments are distorted and my avatar disappears. Do u happen to know the answer? Thank you so much

    • @digitalfashionblender
      @digitalfashionblender  3 месяца назад

      Check all the rotation transforms in blender and in clo3D when you import.
      Following the steps with a simple cube export and a piece of cloth in clo3d can help you figure out at what point the process isn't working.

    Thanks, loved the video.
    I still have a question tho :
    I edited a maximo pose in Blender, I want to export this new pose to CLO3D, however, when I export to FBX, it cancels my transformations.
    Concerning the avatar, I found that while "Applying visual geometry to mesh" now it stays in the transformed position even when exporting to FBX.
    But concerning the bones, they still cancel their transformation when I save even while applying everything in object mode and "applying visual transform to this pose" in pose mode.
    Any idea?
    Thanks a lot, I spent my day looking for a solution that I hadn't found yet.

    • @digitalfashionblender
      @digitalfashionblender  7 месяцев назад

      You need to make a keyframe of the pose. Go to the timeline, check for some little yellow diamonds, these keyframes will hold your pose.
      Add a new keyframe by pressing 'i' on the keyboard when you are in pose mode and your avatar is posed as you want. Then choose Available when you have pressed 'i' - this should keyframe the pose so when you export the pose will be exported correctly

    Hi! Im having trouble importing into Mixamo. Im using a GM8.1 avatar and I keep getting the message that it can't find the Skelton. I also get a "Timeout: Error occurred on fbxparse" any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as im in the middle of a project for work :(

    Hi. If after uploading a clothing animation in alembic format to blender, the clothing is infiltrating the avatar. how can this be fixed?

    it worked but there is a chunk of my avatars arm missing

    • @digitalfashionblender
      @digitalfashionblender  Год назад +1

      Back track your process and see where the issue with the arm originated from. If you cant find it I would just say to run through the steps again and make sure your avatar is symmetrical.

    • @Vertexvoyager
      @Vertexvoyager Год назад

      It's because I parent it to the rig while in rest pose the issue is solved when I parent it in pose position

    • @digitalfashionblender
      @digitalfashionblender  10 месяцев назад

      I explain the whole process for adding shoes in this video. If your shoe doesn't fit either sculpt it to fit or mask off the feet of your avatar using the mask modifier.

    my alembic file doesn't load at all it just keeps crashing clo3d

    • @digitalfashionblender
      @digitalfashionblender  Год назад

      more details please! - make sure the file size isn't too big, you can always test it with simpler geometry to make sure it is working, also make sure the alembic file isnt using too many frames!

    I'm experiencing an issue with Mixamo where the textures are not appearing. Here's what I've done so far to troubleshoot:
    I imported an Avatar from DAZ into Blender, Textures are showing correctly. (Tried with Collect, Embed options)
    I exported the model in both OBJ and FBX formats, while also trying options like packing/unpacking of resources, with no success
    I uploaded the exported OBJ and FBX files to Mixamo, both with and without textures folder, zipping them together.
    Although When I import the FBX file downloaded from Mixamo back into Blender, the textures are displayed correctly.
    It seems that the problem lies specifically with Mixamo not displaying the textures. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.

    • @digitalfashionblender
      @digitalfashionblender  Год назад

      Why would you need to see the textures in mixamo? It sounds like the Fbx you import is working with the textures. There would be no need to see the textures in mixamo to my understanding
