- Thanks to innovation, technology, and attention to detail, Honda Aircraft Company has established itself as a benchmark in the aviation industry, guaranteeing the satisfaction of its customers because year after year they have managed to increase the global presence of HondaJet.
By 2022 they achieved HondaJet certification in 15 countries, and their maintenance and sales service covers countries in North America, Latin America, Europe, Southeast Asia, China, Middle East, India, Japan, Oceania, and Russia. This is a sign that the Honda Jet was an extremely successful debut in the world of aviation for the Japanese company. Soichiro Honda, the founder of this successful company, would be very proud to see how much his creation has grown. So if you are a user or are thinking of acquiring one of these aircraft, you can feel relaxed. If you still have doubts, don't think too much about it because this is one of the best aircraft you can find.

We make the best educational aviation videos you've ever seen; my videos are designed to clear misunderstandings about airplanes and explain complicated aviation topics in a simple way.
First comment 🤣👍
Thanks so much… I’ll pin it 😂
@@Dwaynesaviation You're welcome. Keep up the good work 😁
Honda is delivering mine soon.. cant wait...
It’s beautiful. Mr Honda would be proud.
cannot wait for the type r with afterburners
Range is Honda jets greatestest advantage
I’m waiting for the Type R version to come out
My dream jet ❤
If I ever become a millionair, I will buy a Hondajet. I am in love with its design.
Until then, I will be fine going for a little single engine 2 or 4 seat cessna. Then I will still fly, just for an... almost... reasonable amount of money. I actually hope Honda makes a small 172 competitor one day, would be awesome to see how they innovate that segment of aviation.
Heck yeah, with a k24 engine!
I am between this and the Cirrus Vision gen2 leaning towards the latter because of it’s parachute. Who am i kidding. I barely bought a drone.
They have a new flat black paint scheme that I love
You can prentend that you are a supervillain :-D
Fokker 614 had this engine configuration and it first flew in 1971.
(11:00) he mentions that, although, not by name ;)
Trademark of japanese engineering
Such a fine toy 😘
Great video for a superb product.
Why did they use an inverted pylon to mount the engine instead of fuselage mounting like a citation you wonder? The wing has to be locally strong enough to handle main landing gear loads, strength requires additional structure weight. If the engines were mounted to the fuselage, that also requires strengthening to handle the weight at that location. However, mounting the engine close to the main gear requires only one strong point per side and saves complication in running fuel lines through the cabin. This saves weight and increases the sound isolation between the engines and the cabin. When someone does something different because it is better for their purposes, it often looks funny to a viewer because it is unexpected.
It's not only strength, it's less noise and more room inside the plane, not to mention less hardware.
If they put the engines below the wings it will suck in debris because the plane is already low. If you're so smart then you should have figured this out. They figured out how to place the engine away from the fuselage to reduce noise inside the plane while giving it more compartment space. I would trust their engineers more than I would trust you since you didn't even realize the issue with mounting the engine in that position.
Does it have VTEC?
CIRRUS VISION JET
POWERFULL
HIGH TECH
THE BEST
Wow
Wish I could afford one 🥺🥺🥺
I'll take two please. Red and Silver with the Jacuzzi.
Nice overview. It would seem the Honda jet is a direct competitor of Cessna citation M2. Similar pricing and passenger capacity and both have lavatories. Thanks for sharing.
I always say it's about company mentality. That's why everything Honda makes is at least great, but many things are outstanding, even when they are affordable. That also goes for every other company, and unfortunatelly most companies have totally different mentality. That's why it's easy to pick good things even if you haven't seen them in person, you just need to understand company history and mentality.
how many jumpers can it hold? door mod?
Honda sold nearly 100 units from 2015-2017. Not sure where that came from.
Mostly European customers.
@@kristoffermangila what do you mean?
What about the braking issue?
Amazing jet, this would be the plane I’d buy if I had the $$ come oooooooon lotto 😂
Stall speed?
Why are there no armrests on the seats?
it has a need for a parachute and emergency landing capabilities.
How about safety system use when the aircraft on fly in bad condition
In this case: go up, FL430 is mostly clear flying.
The only Honda I can afford Is Honda civic
Used and 5 or more years old. 😂
Can it go cross country without refueling?
Depends on the country, the range was given in the video.
How much fuel does it consumes?
A lot 😂
It looks like a baby bird. The Diamond DA 50 looks like a Dragon Fly. Of the two, not sure which one I'll get.
3:00 every airplane that competes directly with the HondaJet has a lavatory.
Coz the engines are standing outside on the wings 🤣
Anwar
This is like the mini of private jets. If u r poor millionaire, u buy hondajet
Or you are actually self made, a pilot and enjoy flying your own jet rather than relying on a chauffeur to drive around Miss Daisy.
This is for someone that does have a passion for aviation and/or is a pilot operator
I’ll take one. I’m not too proud lol 😂
If you are a “poor millionaire” never heard that before
What kind of jet do you own?
Simply...because it comes from JAPAN
Two major downsides of the Honda jet are, no aerodynamic brakes or thrust reversers to able it to land at shorter strips and under powered engines.
It does have Aero brakes located at the aft fuselage
@@omolemophaoe having worked on those planes, and knowing many pilots first hand experiences. I don't count them as speed breaks at all
It doesn't have VTEC.
What is DOORABLE ?
This whole plane is adoorable.
You say a New Break through in aviation tech thanks to engine placement over the wings. This is incorrect, for example a French airliner from the 70’s used this positioning, along with I think a German Second World War aircraft. So NOT NEW AT ALL
Looks like a transformer. Not sure I could get past the looks. Even though the Phenom 100EV is slower, it sure looks better...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as it was. Hondajet is the niftiest looking bird this side of heaven, imho!
Single pilot? Great unless they have a health crisis at altitude.
Interior height 1.47m,it is made for Japanese.
It’s neat but far too small inside for 5M dollars. I would rather get something used for much less with a larger cabin.
Good luck, its bigger than the m2 and phenom 100 and is cheaper. 2-3 years ago the going rate for them was 3-4 million, inflation screwed everything up
Meanwhile, Toyota does squat
Because they are a car company. If BMW made aircraft, would Mercedes then need to?
If it makes you feel better, Yamaha makes drone helicopters.
Toyota prob making a flying car hee hee
@@taylordooley3765 Benz has a aircraft division building choppers mainly for rescue, I think the are called M.B ...and built in Korea
make it electric - fly higer, faster and more efficiently -some planes have drop tanks, drop empty batteries as autonomous glider planes
Drop the used batteries? On whose house?
However, it does sound like a good idea for design of any e-plane when on the tarmac and would make recharging a non aircraft issue so one could drop the “empty “ battery and have the fully charged battery installed probably in less time than refueling currently takes.
Still a long time to go before we finally have an electric motor that's as efficient and as reliable as the turbine engine.
@@kmlammto autonomus planes can land wherever you want them to - the military even has refuel drones that lands on aircraft carriers
@@chris22capt an electric a10 would have no heat signature and the batteries be extra armor
@@replica1052 ?
Very poor runway performance- as it seems to require 6000 foot runway for landing due to a number of braking issues. Also a 20kt crosswind limitation! These are serious issues!
The video gave a much smaller number for the required length of the runway when landing.
NOTHING SPECIAL
Maybe talk to owners/operators, or really former owner/operators. This is a click bait wiki page read. These jets are honestly bad. These are pretty slow, low capacity, and still very expensive. Without the few unique design qualities, and it being a Honda product, these wouldve been cancelled years ago.
Faster than and about the same price as competing aircraft with comparable capacity and less noisy inside.
Even if you are poor millionaire you still have a choice. For those who are rich millionaire you may need Honda Type-R jet...😂😂😂😂
