Having lived in both the mid east and Europe, you can see Europe is heading down hill and the mid east is getting better. I'm heading back to Dubai. Nothing ever changes in UK, except things get worse!
Alhamdulilah, ALLAH guides whom He wills , Some see Europe as a paradise, helping them build the future , but it destroys what is most important, which are their children and their values . It's even Haram to live in the country of infidels , It is Halal only for the sake of spreading the religion or for a special reason , prophet Muhammad peace be upon him , said : " I am free of every Muslim who resides among the polytheists "
This is a tough one. Recently, I knew of a hadith of Rasullallah (SAW), that non-Muslims shouldn't even see your camp fire, e.g. you should live apart such a distance, they wouldn't be able to see your camp fire, or they shouldn't live in Muslim lands.
If people have lived in the middle east and the west, then they can compare. Many say Dubai has things the west has, but it's different. Dubai has a certain level of safety which, for example, London or Paris or New York doesn't have. So, it's not the same, as Salaam (peace) if from Allah. So yes, it's better to desire to live in the middle east than to think the west is better. Recently, many non-Muslims are realising that too!
