The first method only works if you scratch the glass with a glass cutter as with the second method. Something like that should be mentioned.

mate why do i see scribe lines on the glass before you put the water on it, hummmmm sus.
I wondered the same thing but the heating element might be abrading the bottle as it makes multiple turns?
The lighter the score line the more accurate the break could be.
@@michaelrohde8518 No mate the galss is harder then the heating element. So, it cant abrade it.
