No I haven't figured it out. If I disengage both steering clutches I can get it into gear with some finagling. The main will disengage but it just takes some tractive resistance and then it will pop free. I havent looked at the steering clutches. Hopefully this summer I will separate the engine from the trans and have a look at what is knackered. I will let you know.
Does your main clutch snap over when you engage it? I just bought one that's been sitting awhile and the clutch is real stiff, I have a D6 9U with dry clutch and it snaps over when you engage it, but I wasn't sure about this D4
