Oh man this brings me back to my horror story of a Dj show..... I was playing a House party for some rich white kid. He paid me $3,000 for a 9pm-3am set at his house where the party was being hosted. (The house was absolutely huge..... you can tell he was a trust fund kid) But anyway, I showed up around 6 which was agreed on, got my whole set up complete, and wires hidden behind my set. Howevet around 12pm.... some kid rolling his balls off, hops up near me with a bottle of champhane, I yelled, "PLEASE DONT DO THAT!", and he does it.... champagne flies fuckint everywhere, and guess where a majority of the splashback lands..... right on my laptop, mixer, and one of my cdjs.... soaked em so bad, I had to shut it down. Funny thing was though, the dude that paid me ended up feeling so bad (he was rolling his ass off as well, im sure he supplied the whole house) that he ended up buying me an upgraded mixer, a laptop, and a brand new cdj. We are still friends to this day
I really liked the fact that avicii didn't swear a bit or started screaming on that weird moment, that's why I respect avicii, he's truly the best of all ❤️💓
I've had this happen at a show before. Some idiot tripped over the main power cable and pulled it loose. Turns out whoever set the outside venue up didn't anchor the power cable. SMH
And this is the reason some DJs use playback, and others request an extra player on stage (even though they never use them). To call them DJ-fails seems a bit wrong, most of them are technical fails. And the first one with skrillex is a win.
Avicii did not make a mistake; he was asked to play “Wake Me Up” on a time crunch (since Steve Aoki had to perform). Suffice to say, the amount of time left until “Wake Me Up” could have been used by the remaining length of “Pure Grinding” (about 40 or so seconds). So he basically stopped the music for nothing
So unfortunately it is the protection on the amps that set the song/music to stop for a while. this can be from the setup not being ready for good quality songs or sound engineers setting the bar too low. it has happened a lot in the dj industry. so dont blame the dj, blame the moment as he says
i've learned to have a secondary mixer connected running a flash drive while im djing that way if my main does go down i can bring up the volume on my back up keeping the music going while i restart my main system not sure if any other dj's do this or not
I wonder why skrilex stopped the music and started swearing that guy LMAO he could have just ignored the can throw, he just became bad in the eyes of the audience
@@DylBeano Bro I meant that the way skrillex stopped the song and started swearing that can guy was hilarious, PS I hate when the DJs start swearing, I really didn't expect skrillex to do that
Shit can happen, been there done that as a DJ. At these times I have like 4 backup USB of which two are plugged in while using a laptop mainly. If it happens? Take it like an artist and embrace the silence to make contact! Peace!
This is waoo to be sincere if this doesn’t happen to you as a dj You don’t have a stories to tell as FANZ must say one or two about you GOD TAKE ME THERE ❤
Thanks for watching guys! Be sure to subscribe if you haven't already ✅ much love 💛

I'd subscribe to your page if you didnt call avici a legend or call skrillex my main man... both those idiots need some rotten fruit thrown at them.

Tiesto didn't make a mistake - he played the world's quietest break before dropping the beat again!

I count 4 decks on Afrojack's clip. He can't blame the CDJ unless the other 2 decks were for show🤔
