I have total faith in every thing you say but still cannot grasp that the cars don't slide around in the box! Thanks for all your videos. We appreciate the time you spend making them.
I did my first show Feb 19th. I used one of those mirrored stands, and two of the mirrored turntables. How do you feel about mirrored turntable displays?
I just joined IPMS here in Canada. Gonna miss the local show as I am on holidays in North Carolina! I would love to go to shows, but with COVID, there haven’t been any in Canada for a few years. Thanks for sharing, happy days and model on! 😎
I haven't been to any clubs or shows and aren't really sure if there are in my area. That is something that I should look into. With that said, I am interested in attending shows to see some excellent builds of all kinds, buy some product and kits, and maybe learn some things. At this point anyway, I have little interest in competing. I got back into the hobby strictly for enjoyment and stress relief and I fear that competing might take the fun out of it for me. I work at my own pace, try to improve with each build, and most importantly enjoy the process.
I love your fundamental Friday video's. There is a lot of useful info. I am just getting back into building models and I would love for you to do a video on paint. What is the best spray can paint to use as that is what I am having to do for now. I know you don't recommend Rust Oleum paint and that seams to be what everybody is selling. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for all the info you are providing.
I am wondering with all the detailed after market parts why I don't see anything for the interior roof , sun visors and interior marrow, and injector pin marks Thank you
i would not want to see you piss off i'm sorry to hear that mr. yost i bet you were hot ive seen your model's that you have for sale wow they are good looking model's yes if i could buy one i would cry like a baby mr. yost you are very good at what you do i'll never be a mr. yost i would be very proud to have one your model car's you make them look like a real one thank you mr. yost for all the video that you do for all us modeler you gave me confident's to try harder great teacher the best i ever had in school thank's
Aren’t super small detail parts and model show tips getting a little too far from “fundamental”? Gluing is fundamental. Specifically gluing painted parts to painted parts. Ask 50 builders and 25 will say do it and 25 will scream outrage! Why? Absolutely interested in Mr. Yost’s opinion on this. WALT (Western PA)

I am just a "home modeler" who has never been to a show but I am interested in how the show circuit works. Thanks for sharing that side of the hobby.
Great tip Donn. I have used the model car boxes in the past but love what you have shown here. Might have to look that up. Thanks...
Awesome tip. I’m no where near ready for a show yet. I agree shows are fun. Love meeting the modelers and learning new stuff 🤘👍
Have never been to a show, but this is some great info for if and when I do. Have a great weekend Donn. Terry

My opinion , Tamiya produces the best paint for model cars right now .
Great video! How do you find out where and when the shows are in your locale?
👍👍👍
I worked in injection molding for 20 years and the static electric on a molded part right when the clamp opens it draws bug to stick to the parts
