I have only clear coated decals one, and it was the time I made my decals on the computer. You have to clear coat ink jet printed decals. It worked well for that set of decals. Good video. It is great that you share your knowledge with other builders. Thanks for sharing.
Great video tutorial Donn. Nice the way you store decals in the scrapbook. Think that is better than placing them between the instructions. I don't like clear coating over decals either. Have a great weekend buddy. Terry
To clear or not to clear. Honestly, it greatly depends on what you're going to do with the finished build. Like how much will it be handled. Personally, I like to clear coat after placing decals. Why with for a problem with the decal to happen if I handle the body? Clear it and it's sealed. I think that advice to shoot 35psi before clear coating is great. That way we catch issues before we seal it up.

i searched for clubs that may be in my area and joined them. they were in the know of events. also i searched the internet and social media (facebook). several events around my area and they are usually annual so they are recurring. I didn't find a club close enough to me so I started one as well. Placed flyers at hobby stores in my area and also to the local schools. we are growing slowly.
I use Future Floor Wax to coat over 1/24 & 1/18 model insignias / decals. Self leveling.
I also use this method with the pledge floor wax

So you have great and informative videos. So coming back to the hobby big question that’s happened to me, how to replace broken glass in the kit?
Awesome video
Another good video. How do you become privy to shows and swap meets? Seems like people are either in the know or clueless.
