- Part 4 of the movie "ZOO." Released in 2007 and directed by Robert Devor, it is a documentary on the life and death of Kenneth Pinyan ("Mr. Hands"), who was killed in an accident involving sexual activity with horses. The movie also examines the lives of others who knew him, and participated in similar acts, along with the subject of zoosexuality as a whole.
Lol if I didn't already know what this documentary was SUPPOSE to be about, I would have no complete idea what they were going on about..

+Desi Arapakis Yeah man... I thought I could put on the documentary and play a video game with the noise running in the background, but I could barely tell what was going on. The only things I noticed were "sometimes you just want to grab a horse by his balls" and weird sayings like that. Besides that, it was mostly rambling about nothing --- and it sounded like most of the people in the video were mentally deficient (for real).

its trying to be so cryptic and artsy that it is hard to follow. the director is trying to humanize these people so much it gets in the way of any other kind of message he's trying to achieve. im starting to doubt there is one.

This docu seems to almost make excuses for these spiritually lazy people with no repentance and justification that such acts are love when in reality they are depravity for those spiritually too lazy or afraid to engage in healthy human relationships as we are created to. They make similar excuses as pedophiles do, whom call it love for their victims. I wished he'd repented and ceased what he was doing. Now he's dead He deserved it for sure but except for the grace of God...so don't we all. I don't celebrate anyone's death esp. leaving in such a painful way esp. for his family and son. My prayers will be lifted for them. I have no other comment.

Just to clarify: The dude on the stool is talking about a related event. He was an actor working on this movie (the director's name is Rob) and he lived around and saw the soccer game in the area where Mr Hands died. When he says "the reality is a man bled to death", he's referring to Mr Hands.

Great film. Haunting, cleverly restrained, evenhanded take on a topic most filmmakers would mos def just cock up in stereotypical fashion. Re: the comment below: I found it no problem at all to follow the narration with the respective roles. I think that if you don't get occupied with exactly who is narrating at any given time, identities just reveal themselves naturally or prove irrelevant.
DougglesMagnificent i totally agree. it is a disturbing subject but the film itself is beautifully executed. the cinematography is haunting as is the soundtrack. some people cant follow this story telling , that's all.
Natalie Dee Same here. I do feel it was carried out well. It takes a bizarre and disturbing subject and gives it the psychological twist that brings out emotions that are deep. IMO, anyway.
Furthermore, the propensity for some people to gravitate to 'friendship' with animals in deference to the minimizing or exclusion of human friendships is an absolute sign of a broken/stunted/misaligned psycho-social growth in them. They need healing and guidance, not allowance toward such inconscionable behavior as bestiality. Good lord, people.

I agree that this movie is boring, and terribly vague and confused. Avoiding sensationalism is a thing, but it doesn't make the movie good.
