  • In this video I give you my thoughts on which handlebars I should use and the issues I have with threading them due to the fork cable outlet position..

    For the purpose of the review I'd try the original bars, although the Aerofly 2 look more ergonomic. 😎
    Nice frame Btw.😎

    I'm with CyclingMilan, I would try to ease the sharp edges if you can on the Yoeleo bars.
    If you can't sort it then I wouldn't risk using them.

    use the yoeleo bars you can use 2k grit wet and dry and warm water to smooth it out lower grit if you need to widen that hole a little

    • @KyrosHouseCycling
      @KyrosHouseCycling  3 года назад

      Yeah I could do that... it definitely needs widening and smoothing. 👍

    Ahhh now I get how you were planning to use the aerofly, using a spacer to keep the hole open....
    With the yoeleo bars, I filed down the sharp edge of the hole a little, not really to enlarge the hole or anything, just to blunt the sharpness.
    With the aerofly you might look to a solution to close that gap a bit, so you don't get to much water in the frame when you end up in a downpour.
    If you go for the aerofly it will be easier I think, but yoeleo bars might be neater.

      Yeah it was a nice idea with the spacer eh? It works but I’m going with the Yoeleo bars. I’ll see if I can sand the sharp edges down, but they shouldn’t be that sharp really. 👍

      @@KyrosHouseCycling Yeah good idea, you are a genius :D In case I ever want to use a different handlebar for some reason, I can borrow your idea.
      I used a small file. The cables still had some marks but no where near what you showed. Maybe I also didn't pull as hard :)

    • @KyrosHouseCycling
      @KyrosHouseCycling  3 года назад

      @@cyclingmilan yeah I probably pulled them way to hard, but that’s why I used some spare stuff so I could practice. 👍 I’ll try the small file tip.

      @@KyrosHouseCycling an other tip is to take your time, and when you feel some resistance to change from pulling the cable to pushing the cable or the other way around.

    Great vid. I have yoeleo handlebars too. I'm having trouble a routing di2 cable from the shifter side hole through to the hole where the stem is. Any tips you can share on how you did this?

    • @KyrosHouseCycling
      @KyrosHouseCycling  3 года назад

      Yeah I threaded a brake cable with a barrel end through the hydraulic hose then fed the excess cable through the bars, then just pulled on the free end of the cable and fed the hydraulic hose through the bars. You could also use a cable feeding tool but there’s not much room in those bars for lots of cables. 👍

    hello, I want to know if the Aerofly is original? I also bought one from a friend and saw the same thing on AliExpress 😮

    Nice, bit this integrated bars are pain in the ass, and on top of that disk brakes doesn't' makes it any easier

      Yeah it’s a little tricky but I’m sure I’ll be able to manage. If not brute force wins the day! 👍

    Try the new H9 yolelo handlebars, they modified the whole thing.

      I have the r12, and the steering definitely takes a lot of fiddling around with to make it work, not worth it, definitely looks more integrated but gonna be a hassle to build

    Where do you get the yoleo bars?

    • @KyrosHouseCycling
      @KyrosHouseCycling  3 года назад

      You can get them direct from Yoeleo, they have a version 2 now that is easier to route cables through due to different construction tech. 👍

      Sorry, sold it a while back, it was a 42 anyhow so a bit wide for you. 👍
