Here it is, folks! My very last comic drama for the summer! :D
This is the story of how Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was forgotten and how his new life had drastically changed forever. All because of a certain cartoon mouse. Find out how in this fantastic work of art made by twisted-wind from deviantART!
My goodness! I really took a huge step with this one by once again switching to another movie program, Adobe Premiere Pro, and really rendering this video to perfection. I know that it's a bit compressed on the sides, but it was my first time working with this program and I wasn't sure how to fix it into HD, so I hope you'll enjoy this for now because I worked really hard on this.
In all honesty, I had a TON of fun making this and was very grateful that twisted-wind gave me permission to dub this comic. After viewing WildDancer101's version from a couple years back, I became inspired to do this myself and wanted to see how I could come up with my own interpretation. I'm pretty certain that both of these guys will be extremely hyped about this one. XD
Also, I wanted to point out that this was the very first project I held auditions for on Casting Call Club and, I have to say, I'm very glad I did. Otherwise, I never would've been given the chance to work with some incredible voice actors, like my special guests, John McBride and Limroto. If you guys are reading this, I want you to know that I had a blast working with you and feel very appreciative of your contribution towards this project, so thank you all so much! ^^
Now, originally, I wanted my friend, Sakuraquaify, to do the narration for this dub to add more variety and give it a feminine touch. However, due to her busy work schedule, she couldn't get her lines to me on time, so I had decided it would be better to do it myself. I guess, in a way, it helped to expand my vocal range, lol. XP
Oh, one last thing. I understand that the spoken text doesn't fully match with the written text on the comic, but that's because the original text contains a lot of bad grammar due to the artist having a difficult time translating the writer's Italian writing to English. Therefore, I decided to rewrite the script for myself and my fellow voice actors so it could be more verbally appealing. I know I could've changed the text in the comic as well, but I wasn't too sure if twisted-wind would approve of that, so I left it alone. :/
But anyways, I'd like to hear your feedback on this comic drama. Some constructive criticism will be useful enough to help me improve on future videos to come, so please let me know what you think. Also, don't forget to check out more of twisted-wind's awesome artwork and comics! Thank you! :D

Don't get me wrong, I thought yours was decent enough, but I just felt like the quality that the audio quality wasn't as great as the visual renderings. Then again, I guess it's hard to expand on a variety of ranges by yourself and afford a good microphone, lol.

For me Oswald was never , And will never be forgotten.I watched the cartoons when i was little on pc , and i played the games . I have drawings with him and ortensia,and the first time i saw him i loved him much more than that mickey...I have 12 years old and i will always love him

That was absolutely amazing!! I'm a huge fan of Epic Mickey and I loved this comic when I read it, hearing dubbed just fills my heart even more.
If you guys like Epic Mickey I actually have a comic I could recommend. It is the fan created Epic Mickey Graphic Novel (that is still being worked on although very slowly at the moment...) by DelDiz on DeviantArt. It is one of my personal favorites; the art style is really good, it's funny, and can be very emotional when it needs to be. Plus, it's just...well Epic! ^^

Oh, the nostalgia of when I watched this as a kid…the nostalgia and the angst hurt so much…I don't even need to watch it anymore, it just makes a great audio drama and it's amazing…

You know with the rebrushed game coming out, I've dived deep in the old fan media I used to watch religiously and this one always stuck out to me. (and the awesome voice acting 10/10) A nice look at what happened before the thinner disaster and I keep wanting to know if they always called it wasteland or named it that after Mickey's accident. Makes me think if there was a name for it beforehand 🤔
Ok I'm 9 right well I loved Oswald ever since I saw him I but when I saw him it was his story about him and then I wanted his plushies and omg I loved him but now Im sadder then ever poor Ozzie but he's never forgotten! He's in our hearts he's in history he's even in a video some day he will come back to be loved,remembered and popular lol and I always watch his cartoons

They really should've made a prequel game starring Oswald about how he fought in the Great Thinner Disaster and trapped The Blot in that bottle.
I would've give him a pencil. He could:
1.) Draw objects and use them in the game
2.) Sword fight
3.) Shoot pointy lead bullets out of it.
4.) Draw minions and bring them to life to fight with you temporarily using sketches you find.

You know something that would be an interesting add-on to the story, where Oswald goes on Wasteland's radio to tell the toons that the Blot was gone, but that their queen was dead and as he's saying it he's noticeably trying not to break down crying.

Technically speaking, it would actually be the other way around since Oswald came before Mickey Mouse. Because Oswald lost his heart before Mickey showed up, then Mickey would be the Nobody.
