Eating BALEADAS in Honduras

In the outskirts of the capital of Honduras, Tegucigalpa, a small village named Valle de Ángeles is home to a community of artisans. After a wonderful hike in the neighbour Parque Nacional la Tigra we decide to recover some energy in this wonderful village.
We stop in a street stall to try Honduras' national food: BALEADAS, a traditional dish composed of a flour tortilla, filled with mashed fried red bean, thick cream , crumbled hard salty cheese, chismol and in our case chorizo. What a great way to meet Honduras' popular cousine!

First time I see a Baleada with chismol to be honest haha. Should try them in San Pedro Sula, they are more of a northern dish.

Beleadas are sencillas, with chorizo or with chicken where in my town Comayagua Honduras
