We visit this fantastic Maya archaeological site in the border between Honduras and Guatemala. We had the change of meeting Yobani Peraza a real expert on Maya history which guided us through the city of Copan. At its peak, this city had a population of around 25,000 and covered an area of over 250 square kilometers. This is one of the most interesting Maya ruins in Central America, and it one of the less visited. Easily you could be there on your own.
