@ElGuapo4000 Sammy itself is an Arabic name which means lofty or high, that's why in the Middle East you'll find a lot of people named Sammy and from Sammy you'll probably get the short version of Sam.
Found this podcast in the last couple months and love what yall are doing, Im half Irish and Hungarian but love the Italian culture, and Sams videos believe it or not helped me through some dark times recently. Love what all of you are doing. Fan and subscriber 4 life now. Oooh!
Saaaaaaaaaaammm!! I love his content! It’s in the form of shorts and I wish they were longer, but most of the time it’s enough to let you come up with your own interpretation of a story
Holy fuck living in the Appalachian region of PA and going through RUclips I never expected to see Sam I’m from port Richmond Staten Island and I know his mom’s family very very well
My great grandmother was Italian. I wish I knew more about my Italian heritage. I'm Mexican, but having some Italian blood was kind of the curveball. All I know is that they immigrated here some hundred years ago, and changed their name (or translated it) from Campioni to Champion.
Top of my head: Sam, a Teacher in Staten Island, is reminded of his Italian-Mafia connected past when he is called forth by his brothers to save Teddy, the heart of the family, when he disappears one day. Sam had left it all behind and found a good life to himself outside of the mafia upbringing. We learn he is one of 6-7 identical brothers, each with a different personality and roll in the family business. The search finds he was kidnapped by a rival gang and the search begins, all while we learn about each character's background.
He has a great look for acting rolls. Maybe type-cast, but still. There is the video about why Teddy doesn't wear a suit, and his face is silhouetted by a lamp. Awesome profile of a tough guy going through something.
It’s a noise gate issue. Gate is activating because the threshold is too low for his voice. Either turn up the gain on the mic or turn down the threshold of the noisegate.
7:13 As a fan of Sam Alkhatib, I’m guessing that Tommy stopped appearing in the table talk episodes, because Sam got tired of putting eyeglasses on…. Or putting six chairs in every video. Either way, it’s really cool to have Sam on the podcast, and hear some cool facts about him.
You want an amazing sandwich: roasted capsicum (bell peppers red) get some of nonnas marinas sauce that’s been sitting on the stove for days slap the sauce on the bread then get you those roasted capsicums (cooled) cut them them and put on the bread and enjoy! Aussies will know the country bread that’s the bread that suits this sando best! 54:39
As a man who grew up in Massena Ny, the accent is something if you dont use it ya lose it. I sound like an italian crossed with a deep southern twang. Ive litterally had people talk to me just to hear how fked up I sound 😂😂😂😂
Ok, so I've been watching this guy, I never paid attention to his name. I thought he was Italian, accent and food.....then i saw his name! Had to google and here we are! Really surprised! Because he looks like both LOL
Sam Alkhatib should do an AMSR video (audio book) or a cameo on "Family Guy": "Get read of, all of the negative thoughts, that you've got in your/ya head. (I respect Pete Davidson.) Namaste, B#%@hes."
What? He is Italian, pal. This is as authentic as Italian gets. From NJ, NY, Staten Island...I mean what about what you see here even seems remotely fake?
So you’re telling me that Lebanese is authentic as Italian gets , because a person is from New Jersey or New York. You’re coming off and both slow and gullible, and I even gave you a head start. Let me tell you one thing. Coming from a certain state in the US doesn’t make you Italian bro. I’m from NJ 🤣 and neither does putting on an act.
As a half arab half white guy who is also named Sam, I appreciate this guy.
Is he half Arab?
@nechirvanhevar435 yeah. He says it in the first few minutes
@@SoundWaveSam ok yeah this is why I clicked on the vid because his last name sounds Arab but I didn’t watch the vid I’m in school

Great episode! Sam is one of my favorite content creators out there so loves hearing him talk more about his real life. Good stuff. Keep it up guys!

Rocco's Mexican too
Love this guy, real down to earth dude.
Just the lore of his characters is such a great start to an original film script.

Dude... sopranos remake type thing with this guy.
Need a volume leveler. Either that or adjust the balance of noise reduction script. Or let me know if you need to know how to do it
Audio sounds totally fine?
Maybe raise Sam's mic closer to his lol

Shut up, there wasn’t anything that was said that wasn’t audible
The audio in the beginning faded a bit. But maybe they fixed it considering this is 8 months old
I would give anything to switch from Homeschool to public school and have this guy as my teacher.
Molto bravi ragazzi continuate così! Tanto amore
Thank you Sam. Your videos always calm me down and make me chuckle. 🙂
Huh, I thought he looked Iranian, but he's Palestinian! That's interesting, I appreciate this guy.

He could be big doing audible productions. Especially stories that are told in the first person.
Definitely Audible Detective stories. Even from 1st hair if the 20th century❤
I'm a big fan. i say this with all due respect. If Gerry Cooney the boxer and Jay Leno had a kid, that would be you. I like your shirt by the way.

mustard on a hotdog!!! Thats also a Chicago thing!
It's an American thing 😂
RUclips algorithm keeps suggesting me his shorts clips.
I really thought he was Italian.
He is. Half Italian and half Arab. He said it himself, plus it's pretty obvious he's from a LARGE Italian family.
His blood is like me trying to prove all my chinese bros im third generation mixed chinese malay
Guys you should get Michael franseze on here
Fuck him he's went all reich wing
Are you kidding ??? He's way to intelligent, for these amateur interviewers
Jay Leno's look alike😮😮
Nathan's 1/4lb dog grilled with lines bun grilled finely chopped white onion in some spicy mustard.
Cool ranch but the double seasoned... There may be 2 in the whole bag.
The middle of a Sicilian pie is the filet.
I knew he was half Arab because of his family name “Alkhatib” most of them lives Jerusalem and Damascus and hail
None of them are related to each other the one in hail is from the tribe tay and the others are pretty much not tribal
1. McDonalds 2. Chipotle 3. Wendys

It’s everywhere in the Arab world not just yemen
White sauce over red anyday
