This has been one of my favourite songs for quite some time now and i just wanted to point out something beautiful i noticed: in the second verse when you sing „her mother, grandmother, great-grandmother too…“ it´s first just one, then too and finally three voices, as if the three women are singing together (possibly to comfort the elderly man). Its such a small detail in an already perfect song, but i think it just shows even more how carefully thought out your music is, and its just so special to me
