I despise recation videos...except for this drum cam video. It's always the same and so much fun to watch. "I love it when drummers can sit back and make the drums fit the song"...2. "Oh this is good with the mid tempo" and then at 3:30 the cymbal work and keeping flawless time kicks in and that when the huge smile comes across drummers faces combined with a headshake noting how impressive it is. You were super respectful to acknowledging all of it and not over analyzing it...just appreciating it.
Looks like he's just throwing paradiddles and slight variations on top of double bass. He then switches to alternate those strokes between the toms and cymbals. All you need is Obscura.

Not sure how great it would be for a "reaction" but I highly recommend the track Groza II. Much more of a slow build, rewarding patience. Very atmospheric and sung in Polish. Definitely has a much, much darker vibe than this. Pretty much all their stuff is great, but it seems like people on YT get really clustered around EiF and the last album. Their secondary band Kriegsmaschine is also fucking fantastic. Generally a bit heavier (check the Enemy of Man album).
What most people dont know is that Kriegsmaschine was their Main Band, and Mgla was a side project that turned into the Main band later. 3 of the Mgla Guys are now playing in Owls Woods Graves, check out the last album.
