The solo was terrible... the original is much simple and better... but the james track was awesome :)

Ah, I see I have been playing the solo all wrong..
Beautiful guitar there dude. Are they actually comfortable to use standing up though? I once bought a BC rich Warlock and sitting down was fine but it was kind of hard to use while standing. I'd like to get another BC rich of some sort but I'd rather not have the same problem again if it's going to be expensive. Although I'm not sure if it's the shape or the weight balance in the guitar that makes that difference

Funny...on songs where I'd rather hear one of your crazy new improvised solos, you play something pretty close to the original. And on songs where I'd rather the originals (::coughHANGAR18cough::) you change 'em up.

I love the tone. I recently got a pod X3 live but I can't figure out how to get it to sound 'good'. I don't want the settings (well, I'd love them, but!) but I'd love to know how you make it sound so good. Suggestions?
My opinion is that we try and reproduce solos for the same reason we reproduce riffs. Because they have the right notes at the right time! I wouldn't change some for the world!
@xXsharinganXx1 Yes, that's your and @NeoGeofanatic's opinion. I think a cover should be a demonstration of 100% of the song, not your own, that's not what the word "cover" means. I still do respect him for doing his own thing, that's a big part of playing music, but I also think that people get pissed because of his show off. Playing music is not about showing off and I can only recommend doing it, if you really CAN do something special.

@MetallicaFan4ever5 Well I think he record directly to the computer instead of putting a mic at an amp, which in that case would give a more aggresive better sounding tone.

I agree. His playing seems adequate, but his tone almost never seems to satisfy me. No matter how many guitars he uses, it just doesn't cut it for me. Surely, with all of those guitars, one could step up his recording method.
But those are just my opinions and thoughts.

@Brunoguitarist80s What ? I've done many concerts (Slayer, Behemoth, Gojira, Watain, Shining) and none of these guys had a Gibson ! Plus, Gibson guitars are very expensive for an average quality...
how do you record these? do you use an amp or multi effect pedal into your computer ?? I know youve used the Line 6 HD 500 before, do you still use that for your recording ? Youve got some great tones !!

Nope, you don't tune down this song when it is in its original form. Though this can be tuned down. But I actually agree with MrGr1m210, the strings look pretty loose. Still a GREAT cover!

@Oui, mais là, franchement, chapeau, il l'a trop géré, il a gardé la mélodie principale, et changé quelques passages rapides, donc, comme dans 90 à 99% des cas, ça rend mieux que l'original^^.
De toutes façons, il est bien meilleur selon moi que les mecs qui ont enregistré la V.O!
Par contre, sur Tornado of souls, par exemple, ce solo inoubliable, je suis assez d'ac avec toi, même si le sien sonnait super aussi. Enfin, sans vouloir te vexer, Neo.... =D you're the best!
