You're making me feel old, kid! I first heard "Blackened" and the And Justice For All album in High School, but it had been out for a while. Then after about a month of listening to AJFA more or less nonstop, I purchased everything from them I could get my hands on. Particularly enjoyed RTL and MOP. A few years later the Black Album came out, and I picked that up too without a question. When I got it in my ears, it was different but more refined. Guitars sounded different, more compressed, but not bad, and James had come along with his vocals as well. The Black album represented the start of a shift for the band, and I think had they not done that shift and taken the risks around it, they wouldn't have stayed relevant or been as successful. I'm glad they did what they did. Roam here remains awesome, and in my life, as I have had to part ways with things, situations, ideas or people, I return to "the less I have the more I gain". Sometimes you're better off moving along. Take the experience and muscle through, pack your shit and go on to new adventures. That's what this song means to me, anyhow.

This is my new Metallica favourite. I'm in rehab shooting for the moon 🌒 trying to change but I refuse to give up Metallica. Brought me so much comfort & joy.
I'm a huge zeppelin and Hendricks fan. Years ago, I thought Metallica could never live up to that. Until I heard them. I was so wrong!! They are one of the best bands in all of classic rock.
After listening to the classics far too many times, you get tired of them - especially the studio version. I just re-listened to this after a long time and I got reminded by how powerful it is.
"The less I have, the more I gain... Off the beaten path I've reign." This particular song saved my life in a difficult time, I've found a connection long ago with the things hurting me inside to it's majora spirit lyrics that J. Balvin and any other crappy f*ck up out of genre artist could never ever remaster nor cover. Though they're far from being who they once were, I'm eternally grateful to my dad and Metallica.
one of the best song metallica ever made. the lyrics are poetry. the beat is hypnotic. this song have many layers and shows metallica is more than just a heavy metal band.
I love this video. Everything about the band back then - the music they played, the things they did, the way they looked - was awesome and this video captures that, in my opnion.

You got this little brother! Music will get you through. My brother beat drug addiction, you can too.
May God Bless and protect you.. Ameen
Nadie 😐
I'm a huge zeppelin and Hendricks fan. Years ago, I thought Metallica could never live up to that. Until I heard them. I was so wrong!! They are one of the best bands in all of classic rock.
Black album was the first I heard of them...ever! I was ensconced in the christian subculture then. We had Deliverance tho
I love Jason, its a great bass player and he was a bloody badass character for the band
After listening to the classics far too many times, you get tired of them - especially the studio version. I just re-listened to this after a long time and I got reminded by how powerful it is.

lyrics of this song is incredible
Whenever I'm on the Highway heading home after a long day I'm reminded of this song and I have to blast it!!!!
I was homeless this song was everything
Hope things get better for you 🙏🏻🤘🎵
Tenho teto pra vc!
I am , and it is. I'll recover but in the mean time , I rock !
I JUST SAW THEM YESTERDAY AND IT WAS FUCKIN AWESOME!!!!!!!
You keep it up bra
I always wanted to see Metallica so bad
The best song from the black album.
This song was actually on the album Death Magnetic released 15 years after the Black Album.
Felix Zaltsberg no.
one of the best song metallica ever made. the lyrics are poetry. the beat is hypnotic. this song have many layers and shows metallica is more than just a heavy metal band.
I love this video. Everything about the band back then - the music they played, the things they did, the way they looked - was awesome and this video captures that, in my opnion.
This is one of my favorite Metallica's tracks of all time.
Listening to this song always pumps me up with adrenaline..
*A Toast To Those Metallicas That Will NEVER Return And That Left Us These Hymns, But I Will Never Forgive That They Destroyed This Hymn Ever.....Rest In Peace METALLICA 😔.*
@@edisonmustainethrash6662 forever immortal. Their classic songs will continue to awaken that sweet bitter anger and rage in all of us
Most underrated Metallica song ever
True
How😂😂
When I first heard it back around August 1991, I immediately wondered if James Hetfield was actually recounting his Operation Desert Storm experience - I mean it is so well written that everyone who was actually there thought: " did James actually went there?".
