I was in a very bad truck accident myself march 9 2012. I was 27 years of age at the time. I was thrown out of the passenger window and the truck landed on its side and my head to my waist was under the truck. I’ve went through surgeries my mouth wired shut broke pretty much my whole face, 10 ribs, collar bone, shoulder, cut my vertrible artery clean into, permanent nerve damage, two vertebrates fused in my neck waiting to do another one soon, I had a treachery and a feeding tube. I went 4 weeks without a drop of water in my mouth while my mouth was wired shut. I was on life support for two weeks of it. My plates in my mouth had to be attached. My first surgery was 14 hours. When this gentleman said he has no more bad days I fully 100 percent agree and know where he’s coming from. I was blessed to be around a great team of doctors and a loving family with lots of friends who was by my side through it all. The Great Lord pulled me through it and i give Him thanks each and every day! Just like this guy here in this video I’m sure.’ But thank u kind sir for sharing this video. I had a skydiving accident 5/3/02 I have 17 screws and 3 plates and a fake hip I hit a tree doing 55mph I was stuck in the tree for over an hour and a half with my foot ripped completely backwards. My shin bone snapped in 2 I was in a drug induced coma for two weeks then I was in rehab for three months. I still deal with chronic pain and have to use a cane 🦯 Most of the time I have to get my other hip done and both of my knees, I have avascular necrosis in my bones. They are dying decaying away. It was a couple years later my hip started hurting and that’s when I found out I had necrosis from the gangrene. That’s when I had to have my hip replaced a few years later I had to have a second surgery on my hip, Hang in there if I can make it, so can you
Logan, my guy, thank you for this interview. Your statement “ I no longer have bad days” hit me like a ton of bricks. I did 10 years in prison, all of my 20s. It sucked, but it changed my life and humbled me in ways I would have never gotten if I hadn’t went to prison. When my time came to finally be free I recall having so many of the same outlooks on life that you mentioned. But, when you said “ I have no bad days” it hit me. I’ve been home now almost 8 years, February 16th will mark 8 years. And in those 8 years I’ve forgot to be thankful, I’ve forgot to love every day like it can all be taken away, I forgot how blessed I am to be free, I forgot that I have so damn much to be thankful for. Now I let bad moments turn to bad days, I’m less thankful, I don’t live every day like it can be taken away. BUT, I promise you, after listening to you speak, going forward I’ll get back to living the way I should. I bet I’ll get back to loving life like I should. I bet I won’t have anymore bad days. 😭 I had spinal fusion surgery when I was younger, have pretty severe anxiety and depression, I'm not that great at my hobbies, I don't have money, or my own place, or a job, or a girlfriend... this interview made me cry and I'm still in tears. I am embarrassed by how my mind keeps pointing out all the stuff that is wrong with me. I needed to see this. I'm very grateful that you survived and are able to share this story with the world. Hey man, I guarantee you could teach me a thing or two about life and happiness and perseverance. Keep your chin up and know there are people out there who know how you feel and know it's going to be ok. Coming from 2, going on 3 back surgeries. Lost everything. Had to get it back. Lost it again. Got it back. Praying I never go through it again, but I know it's possible.

You just learned that from him - he learned it from that kid - and you know what? For him, it may be another year before he forgets it with his PT. You - you'll forget it within two weeks, lol. It's human nature to become complacent. Once life returns to normal, that "thankfulness" thing goes right out the window. It's part of the process of his brain trying to process what he's going through, and everyone finds meaning in their suffering while doing that. I'm not saying it to be mean - I've almost died twice - once from cancer at the age of 29, and once from a car accident. Once in awhile, I might utter some words that are close to remembering the "lessons" I learned to be thankful when I am confronted with an obstacle, but, for the most part, life goes back to normal, you go back to normal. We get used to a certain way of living, we forget the old - just like when people think a rich guy who came from being poor remembers what it's like - "Remembers where he came from" - That's horseshit. After a period of years, he doesn't remember what it was like to be hungry, or worry about paying the rent. The only people who say they do are politicians, or CEO's trying to relate to their workers, or to get votes.

Being someone with chronic pain I am very impressed that he has barely or even not at all mentioned the word pain. Very strong person and it made me reflect on my own situation, I’ve learned from this.
Me too! I am a chronic pain patient since I was 25 and now I'm 56. I never let it affect my life, even when I had to get on disability. I then went and started driving semi trucks

As an ICU nurse, it is humbling to hear the patients perspective of the experience. I always try to inform the patient about their circumstances as much as possible. In the future, I’ll try even harder.
Logan, your interview really touched me. I am so happy you’re still here. My boyfriend, who was a very well trained/ military jumper, died in March in a skydiving accident. From the perspective of a loving partner, I’m so glad your loved ones will not have to endure the journey of deep grief and sorrow that they were so close to experiencing.

Before the accident you were a go-getter,energetic,and ambitious, a zeal for life. After the accident you were exactly the same, but uncovered that you’re also compassionate, loving and just an all around great guy. I had a serious accident 12 years ago. I have ten screws and two plates in my foot, after falling down 15 stairs. One month in hospital, ten months learning to walk again. Nearly had to have my foot amputated. How I wasn’t killed or left a quadriplegic, I will never know. The most important lesson…….Don’t take anything for granted. Be so grateful for one more day. I have several physical disabilities from a number of circumstances and there are many dark days as a result. I needed to hear what you said Logan, more than I ever imagined. I fell 18 feet off a roof a year ago and Crushed both heels. I did not know there could be so much pain. I was in a wheelchair for 3 months. I'm back to pretty much normal now. I have a new respect for people who will never walk again.

Three weeks before his 40th birthday with three children, the youngest 6 months old. We thought he would defy his diagnosis and miraculously walk, regain use of his hands, be able to feed himself. It hasn't happened but he is alive, mind sharper than most and his memory impeccable. He's a dad, a husband and still has his wicked sense of humour. Keep sharing your story Logan. Please don't sell yourself short Logan. It takes an INCREDIBLE amount of strength and courage to recover from the multiple serious injuries that you have been forced to endure. As you mentioned, very few people would survive that kind of accident and you were saved because God has more plans for you. The amount of grace, compassion and empathy that you have shown in just this one video will help others more than you know. You bring hope my friend and you can remind people to continue fighting and that there is always someone else who is going through greater struggles. You can remind people to appreciate all the blessings that we do have in our lives and that is where our focus should remain. You should really think about being a motivational speaker. I truly believe that your story and your experience could help a lot of people. Sometimes we have to experience things for ourselves to be better equipped to help others down the road. I've been a nurse for over 20 years and I think the most important thing I've learned along the way is how important it is to try to keep everything in perspective. I've seen things no one should have to see, and more importantly, things that no one should have to go through, and it's a reminder to not take my life, my abilities, my family, my friends, my memories, my belongings, my education, my experiences, my job, etc for granted... because those things can be taken away from you in a flash!
My husband got sick and it affected his cognitive abilities and fine motor skills. It's not as bad as it could be but before this he was a multi-instrumentalist, with perfect pitch and synesthesia, we never know when we could lose everything we care about.
I was in a gnarly car accident back in 2012. I was going 65 on a dark road, and the road cuts nearly 90 degrees. Spun the wheel , slammed into a brick wall and a tree after bobbing over a ditch. The car caught fire after I crawled out with just a broken femur and broken arm/hand. Perforated my bladder, too. To this day I still am on edge because of it. Your story has given me strength. Although my injuries were not as extensive, I understand the trauma that goes along with events like this. I'll be thinking about you man. You are very, VERY strong. Peace ✌
Don't get me wrong ur very very lucky but "just a broken femur".. man that alone can kill a person. That's about the worst bone to break aside from your skull and spine. Edit: for those wondering, a broken femur can sever your femoral artery

I can relate to. I've been cut out of a far and been in several bad wrecks. They change you in a fundamental way, makes a guy kind of skittish. All the muscle memory of that shock never really goes away.

I'm so very sorry about your Dad. Was he sick? I lost my Dad five years ago to esophageal cancer. He passed only three months after being diagnosed but it took a huge toll on his body in that short amount of time. He was a great man and I miss him every single day. I can't imagine going through that as a child and I'm truly sorry you had to experience that.

I recently fell and fractured my dominant hand in 5 places, including 3 of my fingers, badly enough to require surgery and intensive OT. I’ve been sad and frustrated by the inconvenience, time, and pain involved in the recovery process. However, after hearing Logan’s story, I have nothing to complain about! What an amazing young man! Logan,if you're reading this I'd like to just say that you are one lucky man. The fact that you live to tell this story is amazing. You need to look into being an advocate of some sort or mentor to people who have survived similar trauma like yourself. You are so right that you have only been able to do what you do because of your support team. That just proves that with positive vibes, anyone can overcome traumatic experiences. I worked at a rehabilitation centre for a year back in the day , seeing kids and adults in all kinds of conditions really effected my look on life. I have a friend who had a similar experience on the Mira Mar Airforce base. I have no words to describe what I am feeling about this beautiful young man. All I can say is this is my absolute favourite show of yours bar none. Bummed out recovering from a gardening accident a few months ago where i took a hard fall (got hung up stepping over chicken wire fence...will have a gate now!) and hurt shoulder and wrenched back. Slowly getting better with PT...really needed to see this to put things in perspective. The mental aspect of injuries are the toughest! Logan has it all dialed in with his gratitude/positivity and really helped me...inspirational dude!
I feel ya I been bummed out about a injury I had a couple years whenever I hear stories like this it really makes me feel grateful for the minor injuries I have. But the mental aspect of not feeling 100% is tough to get over for sure.

This is insane. I had a motorcycle accident that caused me to get a paralyzed arm shoulder down and it's now amputated at the elbow, shattered femur. Many injuries. 19 surgeries later, so a lot for a human to take. It's stories like these though that remind us that there is always someone out there who has it worse, or has a "crazier" story. It's amazing to me how fast this guy recovered and how he mentally handled it so fast. He's pretty impressive to say the least.

You're so strong and I wish the best for you. I know you will never see this but I also had a skydiving accident within the last year and a half which is why I watched the video in the first place. I fractured my spine and partially dislocated my collarbone. Although your accident was significantly worse than mine (and different situations), I also don't know anyone else who has survived an accident after falling out of the sky. I hope for the best for you and further recovery!
Thank you Logan for sharing your story. And your right if you learn nothing else in life , you learned 2 of the most important things to help you through life. Empathy & Gratefulness. My partner was a skydiving instructor a professional , and he did many crazy things in that sport. One was jumping off bridges. His best day was being featured on the cover of Skydiving Magazine. He had a couple bad falls, back surgery and neck surgery. But he never learned what you learned. To have empathy or being grateful. 15 yrs.ago he took his own life. He owned a successful computer business. He loved rebuilding English sports cars, and a mustang, he loved speed. He was an adrenaline junkie, he could not jump anymore . He couldn't get his fix. I made sure he got a last jump with his buddies. They took has ashes up & let him disappear into the clouds. I am happy for you Logan. You are a miracle. God has a purpose for you in this life. Take care of yourself. I'm sure the boys parents would love to know they & their son had a positive effect in your life & recovery. Everything happens for a reason. Be patient and move with purpose. 💜🕊️

I went skydiving in vegas and he's not kidding the rush is so invigorating that even after watching this I'll still probably do it again. God be with you brother and everyone else out there who have been through something traumatic like this
I tell all of my students: You can do everything perfectly and still die. That’s the reality of skydiving. Hats off to you for being able to describe in the detail you did. - Considering 25 jumps, you’ve shown a super depth of knowledge, safety considerations & attitude. I had a skydiving accident 5/3/02 I have 17 screws and 3 plates and a fake hip I hit a tree doing 55mph I was stuck in the tree for over an hour and a half with my foot ripped completely backwards. My shin bone snapped in 2 I was in a drug induced coma for two weeks then I was in rehab for three months. I still deal with chronic pain and have to use a cane 🦯 Most of the time I have to get my other hip done and both of my knees, I have avascular necrosis in my bones. They are dying decaying away. It was a couple years later my hip started hurting and that’s when I found out I had necrosis from the gangrene. That’s when I had to have my hip replaced a few years later I had to have a second surgery on my hip, Hang in there if I can make it, so can you.

@@ninjaswithaltitude Thank you for the kind comment. Yes, I’ll go further into description of what happened. It was me and my friend. that were jumping at a new site. They had one way radios. They were telling me and my friend. directions to get back to the landing site. They mixed us both up. they were giving me my friends directions. my friend was getting my directions somehow. luckily he figured it out. with enough time to be able to land. somewhere else that was safe. With me unfortunately, by the time I figured out. That they were giving me my friends directions. I only had two options. I was less than 1000 feet 🦶. One was to go full blast and hit the trees 🌲 at over 50mph. The other option was to flare or break. probably hitting the powerlines. I chose the trees at full speed. so I did not flare or break at all. I tucked into a PLF. I saw the powerlines right below my feet 🦶. I would’ve hit the powerlines. if I were to have flared (break). I said my goodbyes to everybody, getting ready to die. I tucked in and heard crunching noises as I blacked out. I thought I was dead. Somehow I came to. with the most intense pain that i ever felt. in a way however, that was a good thing. because I knew I was alive. somehow during my blackout. I was able to grab onto a branch. using my elbow wrapped around it. the other arm locked around my wrist. so I was locked on to the branch. I held on for an hour and a half. waiting for the fire and rescue team to get there. it was in the middle of the woods. It was a Girl Scout camp. Luckily there were people there. that saw me And called 911. the first truck took about 45 minutes to get there. They extended their ladder. They realized the ladder wasn’t long enough. so they had to get another truck out there, with another ladder. It took over an hour and a half. They stacked it up, finally long enough. they got up there to get me down. my legs were black and Gangrenous. my right ankle is what took the full impact. ripping my foot completely backwards. snapping my shin bone into two. my shin bone was sticking out of my shin. that was with me wearing combat boots. The doctor said if I wasn’t wearing the boots 🥾. it would have ripped my foot clean off. then a few years later. I started developing avascular necrosis because of the gangrene. that I suffered for almost 2 hours. I was in a drug induced coma. for two weeks from the initial accident. Then it took me about three months of rehab, with a pain pump. A couple years later. I started developing major pain in my hips. I went and got an x-ray and mri. I found out I had avascular necrosis developing. in both of my hips and knees. my left hip got so bad. they tried putting bone cement in there to strengthen it. It only lasted a year. My hip was so bad. It broke in my sleep. while I was rolling over in bed. I had to get hip replacement surgery. now I have to get my other hip done and both of my knees. they are getting really bad. the silver lining of the whole thing. is that I met my wife because of the accident. if I did not have the accident, I would not have met my wife. I would not have had my daughter either. I tell my daughter. I would go through it all over again, if I had to. just to have them in my life and it’s true I would. I hope you have a blessed day. This was the one statement that will change my own life forever.
I was in a very bad truck accident myself march 9 2012. I was 27 years of age at the time. I was thrown out of the passenger window and the truck landed on its side and my head to my waist was under the truck. I’ve went through surgeries my mouth wired shut broke pretty much my whole face, 10 ribs, collar bone, shoulder, cut my vertrible artery clean into, permanent nerve damage, two vertebrates fused in my neck waiting to do another one soon, I had a treachery and a feeding tube. I went 4 weeks without a drop of water in my mouth while my mouth was wired shut. I was on life support for two weeks of it. My plates in my mouth had to be attached. My first surgery was 14 hours. When this gentleman said he has no more bad days I fully 100 percent agree and know where he’s coming from. I was blessed to be around a great team of doctors and a loving family with lots of friends who was by my side through it all. The Great Lord pulled me through it and i give Him thanks each and every day! Just like this guy here in this video I’m sure.’ But thank u kind sir for sharing this video. U have helped me so much and I want to thank u so much. Prayers that u continue on getting healthy and stronger. Little steps are big steps! God bless u

Logan, my guy, thank you for this interview. Your statement “ I no longer have bad days” hit me like a ton of bricks. I did 10 years in prison, all of my 20s. It sucked, but it changed my life and humbled me in ways I would have never gotten if I hadn’t went to prison. When my time came to finally be free I recall having so many of the same outlooks on life that you mentioned. But, when you said “ I have no bad days” it hit me. I’ve been home now almost 8 years, February 16th will mark 8 years. And in those 8 years I’ve forgot to be thankful, I’ve forgot to love every day like it can all be taken away, I forgot how blessed I am to be free, I forgot that I have so damn much to be thankful for. Now I let bad moments turn to bad days, I’m less thankful, I don’t live every day like it can be taken away. BUT, I promise you, after listening to you speak, going forward I’ll get back to living the way I should. I bet I’ll get back to loving life like I should. I bet I won’t have anymore bad days. Logan, my guy, thank you bro!!! That little boy changed your life, well you changed mine, again. Thank you!!! Good luck to you.

😭 I had spinal fusion surgery when I was younger, have pretty severe anxiety and depression, I'm not that great at my hobbies, I don't have money, or my own place, or a job, or a girlfriend... this interview made me cry and I'm still in tears. I am embarrassed by how my mind keeps pointing out all the stuff that is wrong with me. I needed to see this. I'm very grateful that you survived and are able to share this story with the world. It helps people in ways you probably couldn't imagine. Thank you.

Hey man, I guarantee you could teach me a thing or two about life and happiness and perseverance. Keep your chin up and know there are people out there who know how you feel and know it's going to be ok. Coming from 2, going on 3 back surgeries. Lost everything. Had to get it back. Lost it again. Got it back. Praying I never go through it again, but I know it's possible.
Start small… work the crappy jobs and enjoy them but always be ready to move up or on to a better job. It will serve you well.
Keep at whatever hobbies you enjoy, if you do anything long enough you'll master it!

Ha! In our house, it was my mother, who, if you can believe it, was English! (She and my American dad met when he was in school over there.) And, here we are at the end of the year when it seems 80% of people are wishing each other "Happy New Years!" Don't they hear themselves?

You just learned that from him - he learned it from that kid - and you know what? For him, it may be another year before he forgets it with his PT. You - you'll forget it within two weeks, lol. It's human nature to become complacent. Once life returns to normal, that "thankfulness" thing goes right out the window. It's part of the process of his brain trying to process what he's going through, and everyone finds meaning in their suffering while doing that.
I'm not saying it to be mean - I've almost died twice - once from cancer at the age of 29, and once from a car accident. Once in awhile, I might utter some words that are close to remembering the "lessons" I learned to be thankful when I am confronted with an obstacle, but, for the most part, life goes back to normal, you go back to normal. We get used to a certain way of living, we forget the old - just like when people think a rich guy who came from being poor remembers what it's like - "Remembers where he came from" - That's horseshit. After a period of years, he doesn't remember what it was like to be hungry, or worry about paying the rent. The only people who say they do are politicians, or CEO's trying to relate to their workers, or to get votes.

Being someone with chronic pain I am very impressed that he has barely or even not at all mentioned the word pain. Very strong person and it made me reflect on my own situation, I’ve learned from this.

As an ICU nurse, it is humbling to hear the patients perspective of the experience. I always try to inform the patient about their circumstances as much as possible. In the future, I’ll try even harder.

Logan, your interview really touched me. I am so happy you’re still here. My boyfriend, who was a very well trained/ military jumper, died in March in a skydiving accident. My shin bone snapped in 2 I was in a drug induced coma for two weeks then I was in rehab for three months. I still deal with chronic pain and have to use a cane 🦯 Most of the time I have to get my other hip done and both of my knees, I have avascular necrosis in my bones. They are dying decaying away. It was a couple years later my hip started hurting and that’s when I found out I had necrosis from the gangrene. That’s when I had to have my hip replaced a few years later I had to have a second surgery on my hip, Hang in there sorry for your loss

Before the accident you were a go-getter,energetic,and ambitious, a zeal for life. After the accident you were exactly the same, but uncovered that you’re also compassionate, loving and just an all around great guy. I had a serious accident 12 years ago. I have ten screws and two plates in my foot, after falling down 15 stairs. One month in hospital, ten months learning to walk again. Nearly had to have my foot amputated. How I wasn’t killed or left a quadriplegic, I will never know. The most important lesson…….Don’t take anything for granted. Be so grateful for one more day. It’s a privilege denied to many. 🙏

I have several physical disabilities from a number of circumstances and there are many dark days as a result. I needed to hear what you said Logan, more than I ever imagined. I fell 18 feet off a roof a year ago and Crushed both heels. I did not know there could be so much pain. I was in a wheelchair for 3 months. I'm back to pretty much normal now. I have a new respect for people who will never walk again.

Three weeks before his 40th birthday with three children, the youngest 6 months old. We thought he would defy his diagnosis and miraculously walk, regain use of his hands, be able to feed himself. Please don't sell yourself short Logan. It takes an INCREDIBLE amount of strength and courage to recover from the multiple serious injuries that you have been forced to endure. As you mentioned, very few people would survive that kind of accident and you were saved because God has more plans for you. The amount of grace, compassion and empathy that you have shown in just this one video will help others more than you know. You bring hope my friend and you can remind people to continue fighting and that there is always someone else who is going through greater struggles. You can remind people to appreciate all the blessings that we do have in our lives and that is where our focus should remain. You should really think about being a motivational speaker. I've been a nurse for over 20 years and I think the most important thing I've learned along the way is how important it is to try to keep everything in perspective. I've seen things no one should have to see, and more importantly, things that no one should have to go through, and it's a reminder to not take my life, my abilities, my family, my friends, my memories, my belongings, my education, my experiences, my job, etc for granted... because those things can be taken away from you in a flash!

My husband got sick and it affected his cognitive abilities and fine motor skills. It's not as bad as it could be but before this he was a multi-instrumentalist, with perfect pitch and synesthesia, we never know when we could lose everything we care about.

I was in a gnarly car accident back in 2012. I was going 65 on a dark road, and the road cuts nearly 90 degrees. Spun the wheel , slammed into a brick wall and a tree after bobbing over a ditch. The car caught fire after I crawled out with just a broken femur and broken arm/hand. Perforated my bladder, too. To this day I still am on edge because of it. Your story has given me strength. Although my injuries were not as extensive, I understand the trauma that goes along with events like this. I'll be thinking about you man. You are very, VERY strong. Peace ✌
Don't get me wrong ur very very lucky but "just a broken femur".. man that alone can kill a person. That's about the worst bone to break aside from your skull and spine.

I can relate to. I've been cut out of a far and been in several bad wrecks. They change you in a fundamental way, makes a guy kind of skittish. All the muscle memory of that shock never really goes away.

I'm so very sorry about your Dad. Was he sick? I lost my Dad five years ago to esophageal cancer. He passed only three months after being diagnosed but it took a huge toll on his body in that short amount of time. He was a great man and I miss him every single day. I can't imagine going through that as a child and I'm truly sorry you had to experience that.

I was ejected from a vehicle in 09. 1 month icu and another 5 in physical therapy. I know this guys feelings too well. You got a heart of gold man

I worked at a rehabilitation centre for a year back in the day , seeing kids and adults in all kinds of conditions really effected my look on life. Bummed out recovering from a gardening accident a few months ago where i took a hard fall (got hung up stepping over chicken wire fence...will have a gate now!) and hurt shoulder and wrenched back. Slowly getting better with PT...really needed to see this to put things in perspective. The mental aspect of injuries are the toughest! Logan has it all dialed in with his gratitude/positivity and really helped me...inspirational dude!
I feel ya I been bummed out about a injury I had a couple years whenever I hear stories like this it really makes me feel grateful for the minor injuries I have. But the mental aspect of not feeling 100% is tough to get over for sure.
Man this one hit me to the CORE. Coming from a fellow human with a disability, Logan man I love you and you are alive for a great reason! You helped me by sharing your testimony alone and I bet there are so many others that can say the same. During this interview I cried, I laughed, I felt what you were saying so deep man. I take care of quadriplegics with Spinal cord injuries and this man is incredibly lucky to be walking with a cane and alive to speak about it. I can only imagine how difficult the journey of healing has been for him, his girl, and family ❤️

I live with my brother inlaw that is a paraplegic of about 6 years now. Life changing. I'm happy he can still use his upper body
This is insane. I had a motorcycle accident that caused me to get a paralyzed arm shoulder down and it's now amputated at the elbow, shattered femur. Many injuries. 19 surgeries later, so a lot for a human to take. It's stories like these though that remind us that there is always someone out there who has it worse, or has a "crazier" story. It's amazing to me how fast this guy recovered and how he mentally handled it so fast. He's pretty impressive to say the least.

My partner was a skydiving instructor a professional , and he did many crazy things in that sport.
One was jumping off bridges.
His best day was being featured on the cover of Skydiving Magazine.
He had a couple bad falls, back surgery and
neck surgery.
But he never learned what you learned.
To have empathy or being grateful.
15 yrs.ago he took his own life.
He owned a successful computer business. He loved rebuilding English sports cars, and a mustang, he loved speed.
He was an adrenaline junkie, he could
not jump anymore . He couldn't get his fix.
I made sure he got a last jump with his buddies. They took has ashes up & let him disappear into the clouds.
I am happy for you Logan.
You are a miracle.
God has a purpose for you in this life.

I'm sure the boys parents would love to know they & their son had a positive effect in your life & recovery.

I still deal with chronic pain and have to use a cane 🦯 Most of the time I have to get my other hip done and both of my knees, I have avascular necrosis in my bones. They are dying decaying away. It was a couple years later my hip started hurting and that’s when I found out I had necrosis from the gangrene. That’s when I had to have my hip replaced a few years later I had to have a second surgery on my hip, Hang in there if I can make it, so can you.

Thank you for the kind comment. Yes, I’ll go further into description of what happened. It was me and my friend. that were jumping at a new site. They had one way radios. They were telling me and my friend. directions to get back to the landing site. They mixed us both up. they were giving me my friends directions. my friend was getting my directions somehow. luckily he figured it out. with enough time to be able to land. somewhere else that was safe. With me unfortunately, by the time I figured out. That they were giving me my friends directions. I only had two options. I was less than 1000 feet 🦶. One was to go full blast and hit the trees 🌲 at over 50mph. The other option was to flare or break. probably hitting the powerlines. I chose the trees at full speed. so I did not flare or break at all. I tucked into a PLF. I saw the powerlines right below my feet 🦶. I would’ve hit the powerlines. if I were to have flared (break). I said my goodbyes to everybody, getting ready to die. I tucked in and heard crunching noises as I blacked out. I thought I was dead. Somehow I came to. with the most intense pain that i ever felt. in a way however, that was a good thing. because I knew I was alive. somehow during my blackout. I was able to grab onto a branch. using my elbow wrapped around it. the other arm locked around my wrist. so I was locked on to the branch. I held on for an hour and a half. waiting for the fire and rescue team to get there. it was in the middle of the woods. It was a Girl Scout camp. Luckily there were people there. that saw me And called 911. the first truck took about 45 minutes to get there. They extended their ladder. They realized the ladder wasn’t long enough. so they had to get another truck out there, with another ladder. It took over an hour and a half. They stacked it up, finally long enough. they got up there to get me down. my legs were black and Gangrenous. my right ankle is what took the full impact. ripping my foot completely backwards. snapping my shin bone into two. my shin bone was sticking out of my shin. that was with me wearing combat boots. The doctor said if I wasn’t wearing the boots 🥾. it would have ripped my foot clean off. then a few years later. I started developing avascular necrosis because of the gangrene. that I suffered for almost 2 hours. I was in a drug induced coma. for two weeks from the initial accident. Then it took me about three months of rehab, with a pain pump. A couple years later. I started developing major pain in my hips. I went and got an x-ray and mri. I found out I had avascular necrosis developing. in both of my hips and knees. my left hip got so bad. they tried putting bone cement in there to strengthen it. It only lasted a year. My hip was so bad. It broke in my sleep. while I was rolling over in bed. I had to get hip replacement surgery. now I have to get my other hip done and both of my knees. they are getting really bad. the silver lining of the whole thing. is that I met my wife because of the accident. if I did not have the accident, I would not have met my wife. I would not have had my daughter either. I tell my daughter. I would go through it all over again, if I had to. just to have them in my life and it’s true I would. I hope you have a blessed day.
