Did you add the oil after you curled your hair?
I’m natural and stopped using perms and got this done every 2 weeks. My hair was great straight but my curls were gone… the heat had the same reaction like a perm on my hair
Yep, that's because your hair was heat trained over time. It's a good thing when you want it to remain straight or get to straight styles more quickly and easily. Not so much when you want your curls back. 😩😩
Yeah that's kinda the point. Come on y'all.
@@DanielleLaShawn Yeap! So now I only get it pressed a couple times a year and my curls are popping. Straight doesn’t last long, but the curls are much more convenient
The way you looked at your hair in the beginning of the video lol haha😂
😂
Came out beautiful 😻
Thank you!
If it takes a whilr the first time it will get faster the more you do it. Do not get discouraged.
Yesss first time had me contemplating life. My mistake after washing, deep conditioning I went to sleep without blow drying 😀 so the next day it was a 4c matted mess and I big shopped recently so it was super shrunk up
Thank u for mentioning how often im starting to do mine every 2 weeks too
You're welcome!
Love it❤️💯🌹🌹
I just went natural two months ago and I love it too‼️
I agree. I love being natural. I've been natural for 6 or 7 years but I big chopped twice.
I am considering this regimen. Thank you for sharing!
You're welcome!
Looks great and the blow dry brush is interesting!
I love that thing. Lol
Hi Diva!! Your hair always look beautiful. You make the process seem so easy. Do you have in the description the blow drying brush and flat iron? Thank you for sharing ❤️🙏🏽😊.
Yes! I linked everything I could in the description box and comments.
You did the best hair do on you tube. Bravo.
Lol, thanks
Pretty hair style!
Thank you!
I really love the video
Beautiful!!
Beautiful hair!
Thank you!
Looks great❤
Thank you!
Looks beautiful ❤️

Naturally beautiful!
Thanks!

It's well deserved.
How do you maintain it when you work out? I always sweat out my roots and have to straighten my hair basically every day😩
I have a short coming explaining what I do. It's already filmed. Check back tomorrow, should be posted then.
I lost the memory card with that footage and refilmed this morning. I was just editing it trying to get it up and I realized there's a pimple on my nose. I'm gonna have to refilm it again but it's not gonna go up today. Sorry 😩.
@@DanielleLaShawn hey did you get this video posted?
400+ heat??? It will melt my head rather than my hair.
Style looks great. But looks like you have heat damage.
I do. That's what heat training your hair does. It loosens your natural curl pattern.
@@DanielleLaShawn thank you for explaining that and not being offended. If you mention heat damage in our community they wanna fight. I didn't understand and now i do. I appreciate you.
Thank you! ❤️
how do you put it up at night?
also just a tip, if you’re able to turn your flat iron down any and still get the same result, do that! i try to keep mine low as possible and just blow dry my hair really straight. yours should be easy to do on at least a little bit lower of a setting bc you got it so straight, do small parts, and use the comb
Lower doesn't give me the same results. I'm also not concerned about heat "damage". Video with how I wrap it up at night is coming!
❤❤❤❤
If my hair were that length it would take an hour too…really considering a big chop 🤔..
Dang. 😩
Or you could just cut it shorter!
@@DanielleLaShawn
It’s at my butt 😅 so that’s not gonna do much. I stay looking at old photos with my ear length hair and it was just so cute, round and simple. I miss it 😔
U big chopping? 👀 My hair was this length in 2019 and I big chopped. It grew back in like 2 years.
@@DanielleLaShawn
Yeah I’d say that’s about average growth. It took me 3.5 to get to tailbone. So a 3-yr break sounds kind of nice actually 😂
If I stick to a blow dry once a month, is it heat training too? I like volume when straight and I want to keep my curl pattern intact too…
Heat training means loosening your curl pattern. You can use heat and wear your hair less textured without heat training.
@@DanielleLaShawn ohhh ok thank you!
U only wash ince every 2 weeks? My hair would be soooooo oily and head would be so flaky but my hair is oily after 1 day... I go 3 days and then it stinks no matter what I put in it.
Yep. I don't really get dandruff and my hair doesn't smell. Beyond 2 weeks and I'll have a lot of build-up because I'm usually slicking back ponytails by then.
I wash mine once a month and no smell nor oily hair
GORG 😍😍
Thanks! 💕
You did that
Thanks! ☺️
An hour?!
It takes longer when my hair is more tangled. When I'm able to detangle fast it all goes pretty quick.
Honey a pizza cooks at 350 degrees! You can get lesions and burns from water thats 200 degrees! 400 degrees is insane!!! 💀👋👋
And yet, I still have all my hair.
Fail😂
can I do this on short hair
You should be able to
I wanna start heat training my hair but I workout a lot so I’m worried that it’ll defeat the purpose. Any advice?
I leave mine wrapped up during workouts and try not to take it off until after the sweat dries and ice showered. That works for me.
👏👏🧡❤
