I saw @deanier playing with @sistersadiemusic backstage at the Opry (a video on IG stories courtesy of our friend @sethtaylor427) and the break she played was so badass I had to teach it to you immediately. It fits so perfectly with the double stop progressions we’ve been doing lately - I couldn’t not. Love that you included marking the 1, passing, and 4 chords. I think it helps when youre learning, for that to be pointed out so that the brain begins to process it. Especially when its chords other than G, C, and D (1/3 chords)
Maybe its just me. I can hear the melodies fine. As an adult learner coming from a lifelong background of rhythm guitar by ear, I find that on rhythm guitar i always know what chord im in at any given time. But sometimes on a lead on the fiddle, in one of the not 1/3 chords, I might not realize just at any random point in it, what chord it might be in at that place in the piece without doing some thinking. Great piece and great instruction! Thank you!!
