I love making homemade pasta (especially ravioli and pierogies yum!!). I know someone else mentioned this but I highly recommend the Kitchen Aid pasta maker attachment set. It comes with several different attachments for rolling out sheets of dough or for slicing them in to noodles. Even though its pricier than a hand crank pasta maker, it means that you can make pasta with only one person. If you do a hand crank model you may need two people to do it....one to crank and the other to feed and catch the dough. I tried to make huge batches of pasta to dry and store once and quickly learned that it takes up soooooo much space when you are in the drying process and it takes longer than you think. I decided it was just easier to make it and eat it fresh that day.

I just cut the bottoms off and put in a large out with a steam basket in the bottom. Fill with water til just reaches the bottom of steamer basket, place on lid and steam on medium for about 45 minutes or until done. I do have to refill water several times throughout. Then we serve with Mayo and melted butter for dipping!

Ally, you can also cut and dry those leftover pasta dough. So you can have ready nooddles when ever you want to cook. I store those noodles in a basket, waped up in dry kitchen towel. Greets from Croatia!

I’d you have a kitchenaid, which I think I saw in the background, get the pasta attachments. It comes in box with the roller and a fettuccine and spaghetti cutter. Worth it IMO lol
