- Tula is a great idea for a one-day trip from Moscow.
Tula city is the oldest Russian city where you can feel the unique Russian atmosphere and try traditional Russian cuisine and sweets.
Tula is one of those cities the name of which evokes stable associations-symbols in the memory. In this case, these are printed gingerbread, samovars - once a very important attribute of tea drinking in Russia and, of course, weapons.

Ah, yes. Tula, home of the famed munitions factory, making the AK-47, Mosin-Nagant, and ammunition. Even all the way over here in the US we have heard of Tula! Love to see the weapons museum. Hmm, wonder what they sell at the giftshop? Looked very chilly, loved it!
Half a million people... This is not a small town. Nor by geography, history, economly or demographics.
Also culturally, Tula has a big say in Russian history, with Tolstoj's Jasna Poljana located nearby.
Last but not least, this is one of the hero cities, 2 months on the frontline and never conquered by Germans.
I find it difficult to tolerate how people from the big cities (like Moscow and Milan) think they're at the center of the universe...
I'm married with a girl from Tula and thank you for promoting this Town, but please don't say this is small.
It is kind of small in some ways. I come from there and from what i remember is that there are no skyscrapers nor huge buildings aside from apartments. But it has a rich history and is older than Moscow and i am really happy she promoted this city.
Sadly I've never heard of Tula....but then again, I'm Australian and we don't know about stuff. LOL
Lovly place!!, Like being in a movie!!🤩
Continuing my Russian language studies.
I hope to visit Russia someday.
Tula has made my list of "must visit cities!"

You make Tula look like fun, even on the coldest winter day. Of course, you make every place look great. Is there a train from Moscow to Tula? How long is the drive by car, and are there stops on the way?

Seeing that man, you broke my heart. 😆😝🤪🤯
👍 thanks.
Hi Eli! I noticed in going up and down streets near the Tula Arsenal on Google Maps some older derelict buildings were covered in canvas with painted buildings on them! I guess it made things look a little better! I have an SKS rifle made in Tula and it works great! Good luck because the way things are going we are all going to need it!
and gingerbread on every corner
Пряник - gingerbread with no ginger :-)
Oh!!! Nice video
In my valley we also have samavar instead of kettle our parents and grandparents used it and its same as tula ‘s samavar with coal n fire
У нас еще были в моде электрические самовары (они удобнее электрочайников, так как не нужно что-то держать на весу и наклонять, наливая чай))
I love you eli😘
Ещё один ингредиент используют для пряников, но сейчас его почти никто не используют, или забыли или из за дороговизны
