- Wow! 37422 and 37419 make an impressive departure from York after arriving with the late RHTT service. See the loco obliterate Yorks foundations on its way to Scarborough. This train was 2x Class 37s with a Rail Head Treatment Train set (RHTT). Locos were 37422 and 37419 departing York 5 mins late. 37422 'Victorious' wore a standard work stained dark blue livery with a headboard reading: 'York Leaf Busters' while 37419 'Driver Tony Kay' wore an Intercity livery. Thanks for watching! Keep an eye out for a big RHTT video rolling out next week!
Love the sound of these trains
Agreed!
Well and truly weathered ...i`d need a few tins of Humbrol paint to get that effect .. A good capture 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Memories of all line rover tickets. Pulling out of Liverpool st in 1968 behind a green EE type 3. Heaven will be this experience
The footage is so crisp and the sound is epic …..an instant sub thanks
Thanks for the sub!
Beautiful, noise, styling and brute power locomotive equivalent to Avro Vulcan bomber; both got throaty howls'
422 is a beast and a half
I lovvveeee it soo much. Gives me goosebumps 😏😏
That engine is a thing of beauty !
Agreed!
What a sight!!!
Absolutely no mega eruption in your video!
I’ve seen far more clag on the Wherry line in Norfolk when we lived up there those 37s used haul just three carriages
Thanks for your guys' opinion although I'm struggling to find anyone who asked...
@@CDMtransportdammmmmmmm
Top Drawer locomotives, with pre-eminent charisma & personality. '422 looks & sounds pretty much the same as when she was pushing & pulling me around East Anglia with the Short Set in style!
Wow!
I love the 37s
Awesome video! Sadly I didn't get to see any Class 37 RHTTs, it's all 66s and MPVs in the midlands. I've subscribed.
That's a shame... its 37s in the York area due to 66s etc not being allowed on the route
@@CDMtransport I wonder what they will use now the DRS 37s are now with ROG.
@@FastlineFilmsWe are due to have Colas doing it so I defo think that 37422 and 425 will return because they are Harry Needle
Superb catch !
Thank you very much!
@@CDMtransport You're welcome !
Nice clean station… then dirty couple of tractors & RHTT turn up 😊 great footage 👍
I don't know what you were looking at but those locos were pristine.
Thank you very much!
@gregdwowle8031 well...
@@gregdowle8031you need to go to spec savers 😂
What were those wagons carrying? bty, at Aberystwyth a 97&37 coupled to take the timber train to Chirk makes a great sound too, with a heavy load.
The answer's in the description (press "more").
Seek and ye shall find. HNY
They had raw steam inside for delivery to heritage railways, this can be seen venting from below due to expansion ! Sometimes they have "magic" smoke for electric locomotives to use when they have an unplanned venting ! Hope this helps 😂
That was an interesting one!
Those locomotives look so clean and fresh and I can say the same thing about how they sound.
nice 🎉🎉🎉💪💪👍👍👍🚂🚂🚂🤝🤝
What does the 6966 number on the leading cab mean? Is it the old original D number? D6966??
37422 carries its original number of 6966 and then 37266, then it became 37422!
It certainly wears its past!
Great video👍👍
*Super filmik chyba były hamulce zblokowane w przed ostatnim wagonem* 😎😱
No... that's just how the wagons work to spray the track!
Well the 1.39 of my life I’ll never get back
😂
Play through a soundbar Amazing sound ❤
Thanks!
Victorious must be one of the best sounding 37s
Agreed!
Not sure what liquid is in those tanks but locos and tanks are covered in it. Lead loco in BR blue with both TOPS and pre TOPS numbers, filthy dirty but covered in shiney liquid. Track weedkiller? Tank wagons and rear loco the same.
it's water - it's raining
Given that it's being sprayed out I think it's most likely weed killer.
@leeroberts1192 it's not weed killer, it's water and the locos are wet, it's raining
@@leeroberts1192it’s water sprayed at high pressure to get leaf mulch off the lines
Yep, it was raining!
What are the shiny tanks and what do they contain? Why does the loco have two sets of numbers on the side?
They contain chemicals to remove leaves from the track!
I think I blinked and missed it 😅😅😅
You have a very slow blink rate.
Where's the "Mega" Thrash ? !!
Blink and you might miss it 😂
tjhis is what are brexit is did fo r.
😂
Beautiful what noise 😊
It sure is!
