  • DRS 37419 arrives at Beverley on 29.10.22 on the 3J51 Hatfield to Scarborough jetter then after a short pause carries on its way with 37422 on the rear. Various sounds and noises all roll into one inside the train shed as its disappears away into the darkness and it all goes silent again.
**********Thanks for watching this video anyone that does, am loving all the sarcastic comments from people who dont read the description or have any idea about how railways operate. Its not clickbait or touting for comments, it was very loud inside the train shed and any decent speakers will prove that. I upload videos for anyone to watch who may wish to do so after enjoying filming them myself. If you need disaster videos to help make your day then I suggest you click on such things on your keyboard warrior keyboards*********

I think it's fairly universal. These 37s are visceral; you feel them as well as hear and see them, they literally shake the ground. I think pretty much everyone, child, adult or elderly, looks up when one of these things comes past. The class 37 track testing train used to come by the back of my house when I lived in Blackburn Lancs and you could hear it from miles away.

I was on my way to Hull Fair on Saturday 14/10/23 and was detained by Walton Street Crossing. My vague displeasure evaporated when I heard a growl and saw a '37 was approaching. Actually 2x '37s with the jetter.
I have seen the Jetter at Scarborough plat #1. Anything outside of DMUs is a pleasure and when '37s are involved...
Sadly it was coming into Hull so I was denied hearing the driver open the taps.

The diesels just pulled in, and left again. It's what diesels do. There are more interesting class 37 videos out there, with repeated bellows and turbine whines, for which they are well known. But here....?
