Is the censor on the tip of the probe? Because I’d like to use it for thick burgers but manual says I need to keep all internal sensor inside the meat. I believe probe is so long for a burger. What do you think?

This particular probe has a large diameter to it and I wouldn't recommend using it on burgers. I think it might sacrifice the integrity of the party, maybe stick with an instant read thermo

@@theneighborskitchen absolutely. I believe this is better for large pieces such as roasting joint, brisket, whole chicken etc.

Are the probes too long to use on filets?

Excellent question! So the manual says:
"3. Notch: When the probe is inserted into meat for measuring the meat's internal temperature, the probe must be inserted deep enough so that the meat will cover this notch."
And I measured the notch from the tip of the probe and it is 2 and 5/8s of an inch. It would probably work but it likely won't be centered.
      Hope this helps! Be well
