Oh yeah, the size makes it smooth and stable for most terrains especially for the fpv drives but it needs a longer play time battery. They need to make a dual battery compartment chasis like two 2s in series to make it a 4s system with independent receiver and esc and that will propel Hosim to the levels of true hobby grade RC company. Thanks Keith!!
This mini RC truck does a move kinda like the "eject" in drone flying. Haha! When this little truck launches off a small hill and into the air, it feels like a powerful, muscle-bound machine.💪🦾💪 Great review!!
Thanks bro!! I feel like I’m safer in the air than on the ground to tell you the truth whenever I’m testing out one of these rc trucks. The possibility of me flipping and crashing seems greater. I like building things but I don’t like fixing things :)
1:8 scale looks like a blast, I like to drive the way you do, a mix of pavement and light bashing. These parts start breaking fast with larger scale momentum 👍
I have been eyeing this truck for weeks! When financially able, I plan on purchasing one if I can. I have the x07, and if this is upgraded parts, I'm gonna love it! Great review as always buddy!
@@RCEscapeYup. 1/10. Hosim up markets most of their cars. The ones they sell as 1/10 are sold as 1/12 by others. The Hosim X-25 is the XLF F-28 1/10 truck.
Look at the HotRC 8 channel transmitter reciever combo and a hobbywing ESC to replace the combo ESC/reciever. Also put fluid in all of your differentials. The Hosim/XLF has great differentials in it, but they ship dry. At least I know mine is. Big Time ballooning front tires.
I do understand since it is a school parking lot even though it is the visitors lot for the stadium. Up here in the high desert, roads and pavements cannot handle the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter and they all crack. This lot has the smoothest pavement.

Nice truck. I like the bigger scale stuff. It feels more stable to drive and you spend less time on your roof. Great review thanks👍

Oh yeah! The trick is to keep it just the way it was out of the box as long as you can. I don't believe in bashing it too hard myself :) $$$!!!

Good choice! The only thing is two batteries should be provided like the x07 and x08.
@RCEscape agreed....fortunately I have a ton of lipos from my fpv quads lol....
Nice looking truck and good review Pete.
Thanks Greg!! 👍
Its the same as the XLF F28 which came out before Hosim version.
You are right! It looks to be the same exact product but it says 1:10 scale and Hosim claims it to be 1:8 scale.

Them people made you leave on public property is a shame.
