The nice thing about the Gresley Teaks is they are super easy to do up. Apply a few coats of Seraphim Sepia and you have darkened them to a much richer shade. I have nine ex train set versions, and I need to give three more that treatment. But despite their age they are lovely things.
Detail is great, I love and appreciate it. But sometimes it is nice to have a coach you can just grab by the chassis and not have to worry about braking anything off.

Hi Barrie, what's your thoughts on Lima 00 coaches? I run N gauge but watch all your vids because i find them very interesting. I run quite a few Lima N gauge coaches and although they are ever so slightly out of scale love them to bits..

Thier OO/HO coaches had Grey nylon type bogies which were totally friction less and will out live you and me ?

I noticed on the panel version, 6 minutes in, there is a panel which sticks out, what would that be?

That is called a 'Ducket' it is a small forward and reverse facing recess where the Guard can place his head to observe Signals in both directions. Can be seen on most 'Brake Vans'; obviously there 2 glass panels facing for and arft.
