  • This song somehow ended up being a mix of post-rock and my regularly celtic-styled folk music. I think it may have some of my favourite melodies I've ever written.
    Thank you very much for listening! Have a fantastic day!

    The coast of Scotland ca. 200 BCE, a sailor arrives with an electric guitar and speakers and starts playing this masterpiece. The image I get in my head is unreasonably funny.
    In all seriousness though, amazing work as always, Maestro. As a rock/metal enthusiast, this really hits the spot :)

    It’s been a while since I listened to your music.
    I especially missed hearing your rock songs.🎶
    But that doesn’t take away from how pleasant it is to daydream to the rest of your songs.

      Thank you! I've been using AI for the last few months, before that I used CC0 images I found online or ones I took myself. AI has been a great help as I imagine the title of the song and the feel, I can actually get a pretty good representation of what I imagine the scene to be. I still do a lot of editing and paint over, but having AI as a tool has made the process and the end results a lot better.

    What kind of stages do you go through while making these melodies, so you write at first, how do you write?

    • @Vindsvept
      @Vindsvept  Год назад +2

      This song is actually a pretty good example. I wrote the intro and melody part just as it ended up in the song. I began with those piano chords, figured out the plucky guitar ostinato, and then wrote the main melody section. All of this is still just with piano. I like to have a plan before I start picking up other instruments. As to how I write, it's all just improvisation. If you ask me to play the melody of the song, I'd have to pick it out by ear. It's rare that I write anything down, and memorizing doesn't add anything because I most likely won't be playing it ever again. It's just a bunch of improvisation until I find something that I like and layer that up in the arrangement stage. I just repeat that until I have a completed song, and it seems to be a process that works for me.
      I have been asked a lot to record the process or stream it, but it would be absolutely horrible to watch.

    Don't think you can imagine how screwed up what people were about to do in response to how evil people operate in sectors of control unrelated to freedom as though only specific natural cultures and conditions existed as fair.
