Song of the Seafarer - Celtic/Rock Music

- Опубликовано: 3 окт 2024
- This song somehow ended up being a mix of post-rock and my regularly celtic-styled folk music. I think it may have some of my favourite melodies I've ever written.
Thank you very much for listening! Have a fantastic day!

Thank you for stopping by!
I love this one! Thank you for making all these amazing tracks!
Thank you! I'm just happy you fine folks are listening to my little tunes :)
The coast of Scotland ca. 200 BCE, a sailor arrives with an electric guitar and speakers and starts playing this masterpiece. The image I get in my head is unreasonably funny.
In all seriousness though, amazing work as always, Maestro. As a rock/metal enthusiast, this really hits the spot :)
To be fair, that would have made a much better cover picture! Thank you very much!
3:14, celtic and rock inspired music, love it! 😃
Thanks Hamdi :D
thanks very much for the great music always!
somehow you never fail to touch my heart with your music! you are a real artist!
Thank you my friend!
My mom has recently discovered your stuff, now she’s listening to you on Spotify every day at work lol.
Hah, that's awesome. Next time you see her, tell her I said thanks and give her a hug from me!
Nice work I haven’t heard a new rock song from you for awhile
Thank you! It's been a while :)
The rock influences work really work well together with your usual sounds! What a pleasant surprise
It does, in a strange way. I'd love to do more!
Incredible Vindsvept as usual!!
Thank you very much :)
Not much tosay other than incredible job once again. Keep growing man.
Thank you!
Great work again, love the rock tracks
Glad you like them! Thanks!
This has to be one of my favourites of yours yet
I came to your music several years ago via the Immersive Music mod for Skyrim. I stayed because the rest of your music is awesome too. Keep it coming!
Thank you Matt!
It’s been a while since I listened to your music.
I especially missed hearing your rock songs.🎶
But that doesn’t take away from how pleasant it is to daydream to the rest of your songs.
Thank you! It's always fun to dabble in a bit of rock. I have more of those kinds of tunes in the works :)
I love it!!
Thanks Tech!
Rock isn't my usual preference but this, I like! It's got a good balance of elements, and well-paced! :]
Thank you! :)

I wasn't sure what to expect entering here.
What I'm sure of is that you have a new subscriber :D
That guitar tone is great, loved it! (As I did the rest of the song :P )
Oh, thank you very much! Glad you liked it, it's a pretty weird song in contrast to most other things I write :)
🔥
I love the images that you use and your music they are incredible
do you make your photos or use ai or dose someone make them for you
Thank you! I've been using AI for the last few months, before that I used CC0 images I found online or ones I took myself. AI has been a great help as I imagine the title of the song and the feel, I can actually get a pretty good representation of what I imagine the scene to be. I still do a lot of editing and paint over, but having AI as a tool has made the process and the end results a lot better.
❤️
Very cool!!!!
Thank you my friend :)
holy....that intro O_o!
Glad you liked it! Thanks :)
What kind of stages do you go through while making these melodies, so you write at first, how do you write?
This song is actually a pretty good example. I wrote the intro and melody part just as it ended up in the song. I began with those piano chords, figured out the plucky guitar ostinato, and then wrote the main melody section. All of this is still just with piano. I like to have a plan before I start picking up other instruments. As to how I write, it's all just improvisation. If you ask me to play the melody of the song, I'd have to pick it out by ear. It's rare that I write anything down, and memorizing doesn't add anything because I most likely won't be playing it ever again. It's just a bunch of improvisation until I find something that I like and layer that up in the arrangement stage. I just repeat that until I have a completed song, and it seems to be a process that works for me.
I have been asked a lot to record the process or stream it, but it would be absolutely horrible to watch.
I don't know why, but this track reminds me somehow to Mike Oldfield... But in a good way!
That can't be bad! Thank you :)

Don't think you can imagine how screwed up what people were about to do in response to how evil people operate in sectors of control unrelated to freedom as though only specific natural cultures and conditions existed as fair.
