Is that even LEGAL in the trucking industry?! Having a long vacation is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO unusual for truckers!! I bet vacation is the only time you are even able to be intimate as husband and wife because I heard that the trucking companies do not allow privacy at all in the sleeper berth and punish anyone found making love back there, even if the couple are married!! Is that true, or are people being stupid?

JustCruzinn yes we both know how to back up .. we don’t back up anymore since all we haul are doubles but whenever we haul 53 footers we do back them up :) thank you for the compliment & for watching!! I appreciate you! 🙏🏼

Hey Neslie! They do not pay you while you’re going to CDL school, they pay you I believe $80 a day for orientation, then while you’re on the road training with your lead driver for 28 days, they pay you as a driver (cent per mile)

normally im a big bus fan and box truck fan but after watching this im even more fascinated by trucks i enjoy hearing good ole diesel trucks driving and somehow this came up in my suggestions and thank goodness it did i watched every second of this.what kind of truck is this?id have to guess its a freightliner cascadia by the way the dashboard looks.so on top of the driving you guys have to do all of that paper work and log in/off using that mini computer looking thing every time you drop a load off and pick one up?i always knew truckers did a lot but i did not realize you all have to do so much extra.they might as well make truckers or any commercial driver mechanics knowing the different parts of the vehicles that wold scare me if i ever consider getting a commercial license thats a lot to remember.kudos to you and the other truckers im impressed,you guys dont get the credit you deserve.oscar seems like the type of dude who will troll the hell out of anyone and show up to the barbecue with all the beers and mac n cheese in hand and be the life of the party and you would be the life of the party too and this dude is too funny both of you are funny.you just gained a new subscriber.good luck and be safe out there driving bless you two for all the hard work you do for others

Yes it’s a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia :) and yes, every time we drop or pick up loads we have to send the “macros” through the Qualcomm, it’s basically the communication between us, our load and the driver managers..there’s a lot of talk about how truckers don’t do anything but I feel we do a lot, it takes a lot to drive an 80k lb truck and stay safe when other drivers act crazy lol.. you described Oscar & I so perfectly hahaha! I appreciate all your kind words and all the support 🙏🏼

You cannot be cited for not having your permits within reach or having your bill of laden out of reach. That is something they teach in school that is wrong. You absolutely 100% can be cited for not having your hazmat documentation and your emergency response guide in reach
when you're under a hazmat load.

Patrick Star no I don’t 😭 it has to be the factory one tho, I don’t think CRST puts any other in it if it messes up.. it’s automatic tho 🤷🏻♀️ were you looking to purchase one?
LifeWithTracyB no I’ve never heard of automatic trucks and I’ll never drive a automatic truck I’d prefer a 18 speed and a Cat or Detroit Diesel engine
@@Baloowyd Most new trucks are going to automatic. They also stopped putting Cat's in trucks sometime back, because they didn't meet the clean air standards.
