that turret jam on the waffle was lucky for stole. if that hadn't have happened he would have lost but still with an impressive result
I have noticed that all of these amazing carry matches have one thing in common. LUCK. The only reason any of these players pull of such epic wins is pure dumb luck. Sure, they make good plays, abuse spotting, shell usage, etc, but RNG saves them. Lucky ammo racks, lucky bounces, lucky penetrations, lucky module damage, hitting small weak points at the last second, enemy shells barely missing, and the list goes on. The point is, no matter how good a player is, not even they can win every battle without some dumb luck. And the fact is that sometimes luck (RNGesus) doesn't even bother to help.
This post is mainly for those people who say that every loss is the players fault not the team, or who say, "RNG doesn't matter you just suck at aiming." Yes your team matters in a team vs team game. Yes, lucky RNG matters in a game that has randomized gameplay. These are factors that are beyond the player's control no matter how good they are. It is frustrating to lose time and time again because half the team cant pull their own weight, or to have your aim circle on the lower glacis only to have the shell bounce on the upper glacis or hit a track.

+Jonathan Pinkerton Well obviously phenominal games need luck. It's what separates the good games from the exceptional games. The combination of RNG blessings and great play makes for the stuff we watch on RUclips; these games are the extremes.

+Jonathan Pinkerton It's all about probability. If you increase your chances of having monster games by doing everything right and then play a lot to increase your sample size, then eventually a monster game will turn up. What you don't see are all the shit-to-average games these players have.

I love the Foch. I'd say it is the most rounded of the teir of TDs. The su-122-54 also found it's way into my heart.

Coming back after a year. I can't believe how incredibly helpful this video was for the present time! At the time this video came out, I was stuck at tier 5 or 6 and knew bugger all about this game! Thank you, QB for helping me and hundreds of thousands of others to learn about this game!

Well, why would he carry 15apcr rounds? Sounds insane right? But I still remember all the games I had in tier 9s. And MMs like this were like Heaven on earth, Most of the time I was facing Tier 10s. And 750 alpha with 286 pen even with that 3 fire rate won't help you do too much damage to an Jg Pz E100 or a deathstar before your life is over
286 pen is better than a lot of tier 10 mediums, and I can successfully contest and penetrate Jageroos and Deathstars with standard rounds in an FV215b, which have 259 pen.
Yeah, I also "pull back to safety", once I "deliver my shell".

Saw this replay on another channel yesterday, but still worth watching haha. I can't wait to get an Obj. 704: it looks like a higher tier meta version of the SU-100, which is my favorite tank atm and I have a 75% win ratio in it. I'm being lazy about getting through the ISU-152 but wow it's gonna be worth it.
If the final round on the WT had been HE, he would have splashed and also killed himself.
I have done that before i did 900 damage to a wt auf pz iv but i killed my self in the process

I never had real problems to pen a 704 just shoot it in the upper part and pen...
+Mentum I think 120 sloped with the chance to angling sufficiently between shots with the long reload and strong side armour makes it quite efficient :)

That EJER fellow in the BC 155 55 is damn good. He does good damage to the enemy and then baits them right into the gun of his TD ally. Then he anticipates the enemy tunnel vision on his ally and flanks them, taking out the enemy Object 704 from behind.
some insane luck, the first like 5 hits were so damn lucky, the turret jam, the wz not shooting etc etc, its crazy how lucky this guy is hahah
QB has been one of my favorite RUclipsrs for a long time now, but during this video I felt a little distracted from the gameplay at the start of the game with the commentary. I love hearing information about the channel, but I feel like there was a lot of dense action that was glossed over in the first 4 minutes

the object 704 and su 101 are so rare for me to face, I only seem to face the tanks most people think of as rare and never meet the "common" tanks...
I really loved the SU-122-54, its very stealthy and has a high rate of fire with that IS-4 gun. It also is very mobile with a 54 km/h top speed and the mantlet is just a black hole just like the Obj 704.
Isn't this maybe StoleYourBike's EU reroll? seems like it as the ping is quiet high

yeah well it is defenely a reroll and really there has been an increase in rerollers replays in the channel.
+João Gonçalves it is not stoleyourbike because he is dark purple not light, but it might not be a reroll because it could just be someone changing their name to that

What's the issue with "rerollers," especially if it's because you have to switch servers? I've been accused of rerolling because I have 5k games and 2900 WN8, but I just watched the game for a few years before I began playing. Just curious.
QB I like it more when you have replays of the old tanks like the 704..my preference are tanks in the 8.0 - 8.10 and above version of Wot, those were the days man

At first, I was a little bemused by him carrying 15 rounds of APCR, I had a 704 and I almost never needed it (I carried 1 round for very bad situations) but I think I know why he does it. His logic is probably as follows: if I have to fire more than 15 rounds, that means I need to carry and I want the best chance of doing so. He's not loading APCR for hard targets, he's just keeping it as an "upgraded" ammo for when it gets tight. Not sure I agree with the logic, but it seems to work for him.

My Favourite TD have a Turret, so maybe the the T30 in Tier 9 and on Tier 10 the 110E4. Guess i am more flexible and able to defend, when alone against a Med or a Light Tank.

Well, the BC 155 55 is a good arty player, but there are also arties that can't do anything if they get rushed, because they are too slow and have no turret. You have to start running pretty early in most arties in the game, to be able to get away from the enemy. And while the obj. 704 loaded 15 ap and 15 apcr, with no HE, he only started firing apcr after he ran out of ap.
agree with the fact he carry a little too much APCR, 23 AP, 5APCR and 2HE will do the job done, and keep the APCR for the heaviest armored TX (like the E3)
Only reason not to load full apcr is credits, and maybe he doesn't care about credits

+Shpee If you think you can just spam shots in the ISU/obj and get great games you are very wrong my friend.You have no idea how many times you die doing less than 1000 dmg.
+TheScaleModeller Agreed, there's a reason Jingles calls the BL-10 the troll cannon, sometimes it trolls the opposition, and sometimes it trolls you with it acting like a KV2 derp in terms of accuracy. I've had games where I racked up 4k dmg in the 1st 3 mins of a game with ridiculously chancy shots and then miss the next 3 "in the bank" shots from 100m.
It an amusingly frustrating but enjoyable gun to play with.

+Shpee I agree with the Russian Tanks OP m8 its just this gun is very random, more so than any other bar the KV2. The alpha kinda covers for it's high inaccuracy just like the KV2 it's more derp, it's the RL rather than the alpha which is what needs the nerf

best tier 9 td is by far the su-122-54 because of its pretty nice DPM and very good mobility, second is the obj 704 in opion.

Gotta love the 704, even when it "low rolls" it's still over 700, yet my Wt-pz4 regularly low rolls into the mid 400s, in fact I had a battle last night where not a single shot was over 500, legit.

I'm playing soviet tier 8 td isu-152. And I was finding vidoes about BL-10 gun.
noticed all through out the game his ammo was 2 meaning it was gold/premium ammo and tou guys wonder why he did so good
Has anyone else noticed you ammo rack an enemy even thought you know your shell will all ready destroy the tank, it always happens to me for example I ammo racked a KV-85 with 112 health with my AMX ELC, and when an enemy tank isn't a 1 shot for me, I shoot where I DO KNOW WHERE THAT TANK'S AMMO RACK IS....IT DOESNT EVEN GET DMGED!!! For anyone else who hates this or had this happen to them, please reply and tell me what happened, I'm glad to hear your story. :)

How can you make your bushes either fully transparent or not when you breack that 15 meters range? In my case it's just getting transparent slowly as I approach it.
I don't usually say this, but that GWP should have taken the shot when he was ramming the waffle. He might have team killed, but with less then 100hp he would have won that game. He held the shot and it cost them the game.

dunno if ya still read old vid posts.. but gonna leave the question here, is the object 704 still a good TD like in the old days or is it pretty much dethroned by other more speedy loading and less derpy TD-types?
i used to play the 704 with normal and HE shells but never shot gold ammo (and to be honest at that time people where literally shooting with their own money which was the dumbest thing one could do) apart from that i went with camo net, gun rammer and optics and usually took along repair kits because i never had someone start a fire on me or wounding a crewmember while driving the 704.
but as this vid shows every TD player has his own loadout and playstyle as ''stoleyourlife'' was doing the agressive play and that enemy 704 went with passive play untill the end.

Hello Quicky, what do you think about making a review about T 25 AT. This tank is much better than people think. Fast with good gun and bouncy armor for T7 TD. My Girlfriend can play with it even in T9 matches without any issues. It is like Comet in TD version.

I'm guessing you mean hit points, and if you do, you are totally misinformed. The Ferdi and T28 both have 1500 HP now, no more.
alphadogg64 Ofc that is not what I meant. At the timestamp, QB said that there is an hp leap from tier 8 to 9 and th a is not the case for T28 nor the ferdi. The question mark was for T95s hp
QB. Agree that a couple of HE would normally help but do you think if he had used HE against the WT for the final shot he would have blown himself up with splash damage?
+Silverghini no, not likely that he could splash himself because the shell would penetrate, and penetrating HE/HESH shells don't splash, but with his luck in this game, he probably would have penned anyway.

I love my Tortoise, nothing like agressivly stuffing 4400 dpm in people's faces.
A platoon of Tortoises can be real fun, or two Tortoise and a FV4005 or death star is also entertaining.

How does he bounce so many shots? Or... how does he bounce any shots? The 704 is my highest tier tank and I never bounce anything with that thing. It is as vulnerable and soft as the ISU in my experience.
