Pre colonial Philippines also had gender fluid people as was recorded by the Spaniards where female-presenting males served as Babaylans (shaman).

I kinda have a feeling they're not going to post their sources, because then you could read them and realize how much they're mangling the complexities of indigenous cultures to try and fit modern ideology.

I went to a Catholic high school (not my choice, was my parents), and i wrote an essay in my religion class about gender identity. That is when i learned about some of the later events in this timeline, mostly the first gender confirming surgery and the laboratory that was destroyed by the nazis.

ayo, I'm sharing this video for my English class for a project based on the origin of gender Binary and I want to know if you guys still have the sources you guys used for this video so my group and I can incorporate more specifics into our project. I know it is a long shot but it would be very helpful and very much appreciated

@@wheresmyeggs In all respect, it doesn't cost you to type Hijra or Non Binary people of the past, or whatever topic she mentioned in google. Yes, they should put sources up, but being lazy with your own research doesn't mean someone "imagined" things they talk about. Scary thing about ppl of our times is the fact they ask about things but they don't listen, they wanna learn but they don't seek knowledge. It's nearly impossible to change most of the ppl's opinions because they being so close minded and stuck in bubbles of sad, repetetive reality they created themselves. Being a sheep is easier than walking your own paths i suppose. Ehhh damn i got carried away, yea they should've put sources, whatever.

@@jeenoh4251 the thing is, I’m not going to do research into something that I already know is 100% fake news. Because I have common sense. People can think that non-binary or two-spirited people are a thing, but I know that they are not. That’s facts. I have better things to do than disprove something I already know is bullshit
