Dark, No Anchor, No Bow Thruster, No Pontoon, No Problem

- Leaving on a late tide from The River Exe we arrive into Dartmouth in total darkness. Due to the music festival all of the pontoons are full and so we decided to anchor for the evening. BUT we lost power to both our anchor winch and bow thruster in the pitch black!
The following morning found a simple fix. The problem had been cause by something pulling into our bow thruster. This not only blew the trip out as well as the 250 amp fuse but also broke the shear pin on the bow thruster.
Eventually we got to the fantastic Dartmouth music festival. This had multiple bands on all around Dartmouth. I have to say my favourite band was the Drat Pack. thedratpack.co.uk/.
