Stoke Gabriel Anchorage high up the River Dart: Episode 60

  • Once again we visit the river Dart, but this time we sail up past the narrow section at Dittisham and carry on up to Stoke Gabriel. Here we find an anchorage for a few days. Having a good Rocna 25kg anchor really helps with a secure anchorage. From here we visit Tuckenhay and Stoke Gabriel in the tender.

    Nice to see our local bit of river looking so nice! Anchorage is usually referred to as White Rock, a deep pool with a lot of mud close by on springs, and the water leading up to the Maltsters is Bow Creek
