Fantastic craftsmanship. The finished piece looked beautiful, but even more beautiful was the way that you made it, a joy to watch.

What I love most about this project is not the turning itself (although that's impressive as well.) I know many turners who do gorgeous work that I'll never achieve.
I'm blown away by the ingenuity involved in developing the process! Many turners will try this note that they know how, but far fewer would have figured this out on their own. I'm one of those sick people who watches the machinery on shows like "How It's Made" and finds them as amazing and artistic as the items they produce.
This was a true pleasure to watch.

New subscriber. Amazing my friend! Did not think it was possible without cutting the outside in half and gluing it around the inner ball. The fact that it was done from a solid piece is incredible. That was one of the best 10 minutes I have ever spent on RUclips! And the speed at which you turn. Mind blown!!!

I was expecting him to make the outer shell and ball seperate, then steam the outer shell to get it soft, and press the ball in like a bearing. Then, when the outer layer cools and dries, it shrinks and hardens so the inner ball can't escape.
That's the practical, easy way to do it.
      But no.
He decided to do it the True Craftsman's way, from one solid block.
      I was not expecting that.
