- Today, I will be taking you through the differences between the Gorka-3 and Gorka-4 Mountain Suits. While similar in many respects, these two uniforms have some key differences that could make all the difference for many buyers!

It’s most likely a off brand. I’m living in Ukraine (UA Army) and the cities are flooded with copies of basically any and everything tactical gear related. In fact finding Gorka Bars is near impossible in Ukraine, most are Ukrainian made, “babushka made”, and knock off/Chinese no tags.
That explains why the pants tore on my first camping trip out. Total junk knockoffs

I have a BARS Gorka 4 and the elbow pockets with the Velcro closure are for elbow pad inserts. Oddly enough, there are no such pockets on the knees of the trousers. The "personal effects" pocket is a smaller Velcro pocket inside the chest pocket. Thanks for the great videos!
Huh, weird. Maybe my off license gorka 4 was just an odd duck. It only had one velcro pocket on a sleeve, and no velcro pocket within the main pocket
The gorka-3 is more stylish, with it's dual camo green, so it's a clear winner. The gorka 4 looks a little too paramilitary.
True. The gorka 3 with its mixed greens is just cooler
9:15 the gorka while not overbearing in heat is pretty adequate for some pretty cold weather, I work in a meat packing factory and the gorka (I own both the 3 and 4) work adequately fine while in the freezers which is usually around 8 degrees Fahrenheit with nothing but a t shirt underneath
Hello, the theory about unlabeled gorka Is not the case, conflict here wasnt that sofiscitated to go in such details, also russians wore exclusively green and camo gorkas, Black was our colour( volunteer batalions) in the early stages, i serve in Ukraine since 2014, Its most likely one of localy (Ukraine) manufactured gorka, there are many small manufacturers and most of them have decent quality, comparable to SSO, BARS... Keep up the videos, i love the concept and your active appoach!
Cool! Thanks for the info! Guess my second guess of an off-license Ukrainian producer is more likely. I am not that deeply read up on the conflict in Ukraine. Can you recommend any good books or videos?
@@MilitaryHistoryGearReview If you want a good timeline of the conflict in Ukraine then look up "Russian Roulette" by Vice. The series start a little after the russians took over Crimea and they follow the escalation of the conflict on both sides and interview all kind of people from civilians to soldiers

@Report of the day Honestly, just reputation for quality behind each manufacturer. Reputation wise, I've heard top is SSO, then BARS, then everything else
@Report of the day Anorak describes the hood type and pouch in the front, it's a style of jacket. I believe Bars is a manufacturer that provided many of the government issued Gorkas. KLMK is just a pattern of Russian camo. SSO gorkas seem slightly more expensive than most Bars and may be higher quality (I can't confirm (yet.))
I got my self a Gorka 4 Digital Flora from Grey Shop for Wildlife Photography, also i used it for Airsoft and its nice and warm, i just need to lose a bit of weight.

I stil have my Gorka 4 and i had it for many years and its stil in the same condition stil warm and confterbule.but i would like to have the bBlack Gorka 1 or newer ..and i live in sweden where the vinter can get very cold but this uniform you dont feal any cold its like its made for our cold vinter ...to bad our own M90 uniform is from the same material then we would not feal so cold in them...of course you put some extra clothes under but not to compare whit the Gorka where you almost can use only a Tshirt under.....I use to be a uniform collector i stil have many left most from French foreign legion i have the new British uniform but i wish i never sold my DPM uniform the British old uniform i like that uniform so much so maybe i buy that uniform again....i have a Russian vinter uniform a white. well and many more even a complett M59 our Green old system of uniform but its nice in a way to have everything in that collection from helmer to well every thing....i have a lot of back pack i have cantines to much to write here then i would make a comment long as a book..L.O.L....But my Gorka stays whit me and our cold vinter...Sorry for bad gramma and speling...:)
