Nice video! So glad I sold both my kids 16 stacycs and got them both the X model. Battery life is insanely better. When we had one of each, the stacyc had to charge 4-5 times before the Orion needed a charge. My 5 and 7 year old couldn’t take the drill battery motors off their Stacy’s. On this, they just plug it in and I don’t have to worry about it! One other huge selling point, the hub drive. Not only is it insanely quiet compared to the Stacy, it makes changing the back tire super easy! Total PITA on a Stacyc. My biggest complaint about the Orion is the foot pegs. I wish there was more of a fixed foot peg option similar to the Stacyc. The way they’re designed, it’s pretty easy for them to get twisted/turned if they crash or just put the bike down without the kickstand. Keep up the videos! You guys should partner up with a graphic company on these! There is no full body decal support like the Stacy’s have!
Unfortunately that will never happen. The Pur Speed brand was Thumpstar, then XRT, then Orion, then XRT again, and now Pur Speed. The bikes are dangerous in our opinion and just changes names when there are issues. The battery is covered in a shrinkwrap in the downtube not hard cased. Because the wiring was ran externally of the cells, after the battery runs against the frame it's arcs and shorts the batteries turning it into a roman candle. This video was from a Customer of ours, after talking to the factory they did not care. We immediately stopped buying and selling everything from that factory. ruclips.net/user/shorts_iGDTq1w1I8?feature=share

I would like to see a comparison to a pur-speed xtreme model.

Do you have a shop? Have these in stock? I'd love to bring my 6&7 year old to check these out. I see you're in Socal.
Yes we do and we are in Cathedral City. Our address is 35688 Cathedral Canyon Dr #208, Cathedral City, CA 92234
Doesn’t the 16x come with the front shocks?
@@bennymcgee3087 yes this was the early model 16x without them. The bikes have had several updates since they were released last year.
Can the speed be locked now
No it's still able to be changed on the fly.
are the hydraulic brake levers better/easier to pull? these bike manufacturers don't think about these kids tiny fingers.
@@westonreay9615 yes hydraulic is much easier since you move fluid vs a cable. The X levers are closer and adjustable vs the S model that is not
