The display on that controller is really impressive, by far the best one I've seen on any of these bikes. Look like a moto display vs the eggrider usually found
It’s more efficient having a higher power motor / controller / battery and turning the output power down. 15kW-20kW is more than enough offroad. This 28kW system turned down to 17kW will produce less heat than Alex’s talaria setup at 17kW. The motor windings are larger on the bigger motor. Which means you’ll achieve more range, less wear and tear on the electronics. It wasn’t discussed at length but the regen should handle most of the breaking concerns. With 5 levels I would think the regen is quite strong??? Maybe the best upgrade is a set of new shocks?

Question if you stay on the road with the Ventus one and just upgrade the tires and wheels to super Moto’s, would it hold up stock keeping everything else stock and would you recommend upgrading anything else??
Actually that would hold up pretty well. It comes with a reven thumb throttle so you can mostly use that on the road. It would be a perfect bike for that!
I would be interested to know which bike currently has the best suspension and brakes on the market. Or which bike generally has the most stable frame and everything.
Probably the Talaria overall? The pro SS probably has the best brakes ...but tbh none of them use top shelf stuff, they are built to a price point. My Surrons suspension is pretty basic and could do with stiffer springs for a start, brakes are almost acceptable for stock power levels but not what I'd call very good. I am so envious of all your off road trails. I live in San Antonio and there is literally no place to ride off road. Every bit of land here is private. It is almost stupid to have an off road vehicle here.
Unless you just ask the owner and offer offer to let him ride your bike 😁
@@franksplace551 It's a bit hard to find the owner of vast tracks of land with now house on them that are all fenced in. I know you can't relate but it really is a sad situation....just like the sick f_cks that run the Texas government!
