Was this a dealership car or something you had to detail? And I like these trucks but boy the resale value is out of this world. And for the price of a new one you can get a full size truck. But as of 09 they come with 5.3s now :D

Hey guys. Maybe one of you can help me out. I own a 2005 Chevrolet colorado. Z71 LS 3.5L L5 Crew Cab 4WD. I am looking for some parts and i dont find it here in france where i live. I have been told that parts are the same as Isuzu Dmax. Can you please tell me which Isuzu model matches with my Chevy?
@CoopaLSR where i live there is a 6 million dollar school with 123 student and 7-10 teachers. We are very small so we all kinda are like friends. But if you think that's weird, my teachers also let me drive their cars, as well as keep them maintained. We have gone camping with them too. Its a LOT different than from what the average person seems used too, DOES it seem odd to you?
I already have a v8 trans am. And I would love a truck but don't want to pay for gas on another v8. And I don't want to race in it. And its the perfect size to put anything in the bed. And my daughter would fit comfortably in the back. I'll take it! How much are the worth?! Any complaints?
@Motorfordtoyota im not a bit fan of Import trucks... i don't know why... i prefer domestic trucks, but if it came down to a car i would prefer it to be import.
@tothemax24757 these trucks can be found pretty cheap on the used market..however there have been complaints that its low on both power and fuel economy..unless you get the v8.. If you are planning on towing i hear there is a fair amount of flex in the chassis...drives pretty bland..but if you think its perfect for you by all means! I would take a good look at the dodge dakota before you purchased this..much better driving characteristics and similar size
Ok so I have 2005 just like this but not a 4X4 any way got 100K on it and (knock on wood) no trouble. Idk I like my truck, wish I had the v8 but like it.
jim bob what are you talking about my mom has 2013 Chevy Tahoe and I have 2007 i5 cylinder Colorado 4x4 and my mom drives 40k a day to work and has to spend 15-20 dollars a day to drive it. I drive mine about 50-60k to work a day and my truck cost 10 dollars to get back and fourth to work, the dod aka displacement on demand or active fuel management sucks and barely saves you a nickel it would take you 10 years of 20000k a year before you would even get a full tank of gas.
@austinman1995 They have been screwing me well into the 90's. Never again will i buy a GM product. they may have improved but they got a long way to go to make up for what they did. Your pass can comeback and bite u in the rear. And by the way this truck is junk. The towing is the lowest in it's class.
@strumem90 They dont do that. It was proved most of those cases were just idiots trying to get their five minutes of fame by faking a stuck throttle. If it were true, they would turned the engine uff or put it in nuetral, ect. But no, they didnt.
Favorite pickup truck of all time. Nostalgic as my first pickup and hope to come across one of these or an 05 canyon again later on in life.
This was back during a time when engineers and designers had fun being creative as a automotive designer.
had one of these trucks as a rental, and it was really nice.
The first song on the radio is Check my Brain, by Alice In Chains if anyone’s wondering.

I had a 2008 with 125 thousands kms, I crashed it a month ago, now I want to buy a 2012, they are great trucks.
@vettedude418 Maybe a little low on fuel economy, but it's a strong fast engine. And reliable as hell. The whole truck is easy to work on.
My favorite mid-size truck! This one is plain AWESOME!!! Manual Seats are the best. Thanks for the video! Thumbs up for sure!
I can say for 2007 their I5's are hell of alot quieter.. I just love this I5 :)
Great video as always Kyle! Colorados are neat trucks!

@saabkyle04 I can tell it is old because your wearing shorts
I wish he would talk a little more about the vehicle he is showcasing instead of just doing a walk around of it.

I'm glad this replaced the S10
Josh Ferguson The s10 can't be replaced, this was just a horrible attempt.
@@dougjohnsonbushcraftandbjj5561 How? The S10 was great and so was the Colorado in my opinion. I love the Vortec 5, especially the 3.7L.
Josh Ferguson I am in a sense I wish they kept the S10 name on
When this truck came out it wasn't 6 month till u saw them on used car lots. You couldn't give them away..........JUNK
and plus with i5 engine it comes with the 4 speed auto which is terrible with the i5
