Wonky strips of paper as masks for painting papers… How wonderful. I love this technique for many aspects: easy, super accessible, no need to clean (I do not enjoy this with plastic stencils at all) and opportunity to repurpose painted strips in collages. Just wonderful.
Thanks Lena, yes, I love the fact that it is a free resource as well - as for cleaning stencils, I never do, LOL! 💗💗
For your first paper: change the direction each time you stamp to make results more interesting. (You do that for the second stamp.)
“I hope you don’t find this boring.” Not for a second. Watching all your inspiring ideas translated into fantastic, unique collage papers, gave me the energy to make some of my own ❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️ Thanks.
What you’re calling corrugated paper can also be called embossed cardstock and you can find dozens of patterns sold as card fronts for handmade cards. I have about seven that I use on my gel plate. They don’t work grate just pressing them into paint on the plate. But they might work better mounted on a wood block. The problem is that the embossing tends to be too shallow to make a good impression.
LOL! You should totally do one with LOTS of cat hair. Should make for an interesting effect. ;-)
Challenge accepted Henriette! 💗
I agree
I'm sincerely impressed-kudos to you!
This is my first time seeing you … how fun you are! We have fur babies too (dogs) and life would never be the same without some hair!! Wonderful print … love the paper idea!! Very inspiring … thank you!!
Aw, where would we be without our fur babies? Thanks for popping by my channel and I am glad you like the gel printing idea, it is so effective - and a resource that is just my price point - free, LOL! 💗💗
Thank you so much Kari, I really really enjoyed watching create that fantastic pattern on the Gelli plate. I’ve never seen this done before but I absolutely love ❤❤❤❤❤ it. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags. With me it’s dog hairs that get all over 😂😂😂. Hope your keeping well too ❤❤❤
Ooh this is lovely - I have only done this with inks before, but I think this is much better. Can't wait to have a go! Nicola x
Merci beaucoup 🌸🌸🌸
Awesome!
Wow! ❤
Aww man Kari, you enabler! I had to go out and get a cat (and tons of antihistamines for the allergies to it) so I could do this exactly right 😂
Truly, I loved this process, especially the tips and hacks. Tyfs! ❤
LOL, that is hilarious, Marti!
I also attach foam patterns to wood blocks that have stamps on one side. Voila! Two sided stamps!
Oh, that is a great idea, Lynn, I will have to do that!
Another great one to share with us all.... love you dear xxxx
Thanks so much Paulla!
