I've never heard of Bendy and the Ink Machine before. After singing your covers for days and falling absolutely in love with them, I just played the demo. Thanks for making me discover this jewel!
This is so beautiful for so many reasons. This is a perfect cover for you, Caleb; the genre and tempo are so well attuned to your natural flair for performance. This is why I'm so in love with your Wolf in Sheep's Clothing cover, your previous BatIM cover, your boy band covers.. you spill your soul into what you sing, and when the song offers the ability to add some personal creativity it's actually incredible. I was genuinely tapping and clapping along to the beat with you every step of the way. Add in the experience of getting to see Jonathan get pulled down a couple notches from his usual dramatic metal and kicking it jazzy (and looking incredible in a dapper suit) -AND- Adrianna getting swingy and upbeat from her more often slower-tempo songs (while looking like she's having the time of her life the whole way throughout). Neither of them looked out of place at all in this video, but knowing their previous works makes both of their parts so ironically beautiful here. Perfect collaboration. There's so many more reasons why this entire video is a masterpiece but this is easily my favorite video of yours to date. You breathed a new life into this song (which is already a godlike creation) and gave it a flair that only you know how to do, Caleb. Incredible work. I will have this on repeat for days.

This is so beautiful for so many reasons. This is a perfect cover for you, Caleb; the genre and tempo are so well attuned to your natural flair for performance. This is why I'm so in love with your Wolf in Sheep's Clothing cover, your previous BatIM cover, your boy band covers.. you spill your soul into what you sing, and when the song offers the ability to add some personal creativity it's actually incredible. I was genuinely tapping and clapping along to the beat with you every step of the way.
Add in the experience of getting to see Jonathan get pulled down a couple notches from his usual dramatic metal and kicking it jazzy (and looking incredible in a dapper suit) -AND- Adrianna getting swingy and upbeat from her more often slower-tempo songs (while looking like she's having the time of her life the whole way throughout). Neither of them looked out of place at all in this video, but knowing their previous works makes both of their parts so ironically beautiful here. Perfect collaboration.
There's so many more reasons why this entire video is a masterpiece but this is easily my favorite video of yours to date. You breathed a new life into this song (which is already a godlike creation) and gave it a flair that only you know how to do, Caleb.
