  • We honestly think this is a game changer. To be able to see what your tyres on your tow vehicle and the tyres and wheel bearing on what you are towing, Is just a great safety feature.
ICHECK TPMS have come up with what we think is an important safety gadget for towing. With the new wheel bearing sensors you can manage the temperature of them along side your tyres pressures. Don't just wing it by outing your hand on the wheel, now you can digitally see what is happening. They can also be used on boat trailers, box trailers anything you are towing.
Also ICHECk have come up with an amazing torch with power bank to charge phone etc on the go.
They have an amazing first aid kit as well which we carry around with us all the time.

Not convinced with the hub temp sensors. Simple enough to walk around and check them regularly when stopping, either by hand or with a temp gun. Good to be doing visual checks anyway.

Yer, if you were to get them free like old mate there, I’d probably installed too but I see your point so I definitely won’t be purchasing them either.

@@kman6482there's ones that screw onto ya valves and you can replace the batteries in them , I don't like that internal stuff expesily if you carnt replace a simple battery that's no good expesily out on the tracks , nice to have spare little batteries in the glove box 😉

The sensors are a lot of money and you cannot change the batteries when they go flat,so you are up for a complete replacement.

The icheck web site states the wheel bearing sensors are not able to be replaced.@@stuartkcalvin

A seized up brake will heat up far quicker, and also be detected before you notice it. I had this happen on my 4x4 in normal use

Did you pay for the I check items?
If so could you give cost details? Also is it true that you CANT replace the batteries in these tpms ?
Saftey Dave TPMS i have and much better value .

I run tpms on a 21.6 ft dual axle. My tyre pressures drop off the monitor when driving. Im told i need a booster in the back of my ute. Your the first you tuber that has mentioned the boosters. You should tell the viewers about the boosters when promoting these products.

My 2 turned up. When i fitted them, one of them went into alarm with a low battery error. Apparently, they had a bad batch, so I am awaiting a replacement, I was disappointed that these are a sealed unit, that has to be thrown away when the batteries go flat. Something I was not aware of when I purchased them.

The greatest draw back is having to unlock & remove & replace your wheel sensors - every time you want to air up or air down your tyres for off-road / on road.
If you have 10 odd wheels to do, you’d be all day laying on your back in the dust & dirt multiples of times a day.
It’s just non sense & it’s why no one bothers with Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems regardless of brand.
They all suffer this design failing.
Yes you can have internal sensors to avoid this problem but then you have to pay your tyre store $50/ wheel to strip your tyres off the rims - install the internal sensors & refit the tyres & rebalance.
10 wheels there’s $500 on top of the cost of the kit.
And when the batteries on the internal sensors need replacing every year or two, there’s another $500 plus batteries cost.
But at least you then have the convenience of not having to unlock & remove & refit external sensors multiple times a day sometimes.
And the REAL solution that non of the manufacturers have worked out yet, is to have a Schrader valve stem that protrudes out of the top of the sensor, so you can air up and air down any time you want without having to unlock & remove & replace the sensor & re-lock it on every wheel multiple times a day.
How stupid are the manufacturers in this day & age that they can’t design a sensor to work in this way?🤷‍♂️🙄
If they did, I would buy a complete set today.
I had a set of tyre pressure monitor systems for an 18 wheeler & sold it within the week because one always refused to seal properly against the valve stem & every day I’d wake up to another flat tyre caused by the bloody TPMS sensors ffs.
You can spruik on all you like about I check TPMS every episode all you like because they are your sponsor, but the reality is the product is sh!t because it’s not designed to be user friendly for airing up and down frequently.
Some of us are old fat & infirm.
It’s a big deal to get down on all 4’s to do this unlock, remove, air down or up and replace the sensor & re-lock it.
I’m like a stranded turtle on its back once I get down there, I ain’t getting back up without help. 🙄
It’s bad enough just applying the air nozzle to pump up tyres or screw on the tyre deflators, I can just manage that, but no feckin’ way I can manage unlocking and removing and replacing sensors as well.
Our days trip would be over before we left the bloody camp ground.
Surely you can talk with your sponsor & pass on my suggestion to re-design, because at the moment they are flogging a dead horse to anyone who actually goes off road and airs up and down tyres regularly.
And one more thing, you say put it on your boat trailer? How do the tyre sensors and bearing sensors hold up if you’re backing your boat trailer and vehicle rear wheels into the salt water at boat ramps frequently?
Are they all 100% water proof to depth and salt / corrosion resistant etc?
One presumes that if you have to disassemble sensors to fit new batteries that eventually salt waters going to get into your battery compartment past the seal and likely inside your bearing caps where the bearing sensors are as well?
    My 2c

I have never used the TPMS sensor locking mechanism, and never lost one. So, they are as simple to remove as a valve cap. I think you are overthinking it.

@@simonwatson5941 In these parts your first trip to the local supermarket you’d come back to find all your sensors missing if not locked onto the Schrader valve stem.
