    Perfect timing with this info for me. Been a long term WAT customer, your’re serviced the trans in my ‘13 Hilux ever since I have had it and it has one of your coolers installed. Just upgraded to a 2019 Prado and You’re right, no trans dipstick and I can’t even detect a trans service in the service booklet. I’m local to you guys so will be calling soon for a trans service and cooler.
    Cheers

    The lockup kit for the fortuner is definitely a purchase I will be making
    Personally I much prefer paper instructions with the option of a qr code if you need a better quality photo rather then a printed one
    Can't beat old school paper instructions to follow

    Another great Aussie company making our lives better. Question though, i have a 2011 Kluger "sealed for life" tranny with 200,000klms since new, no problems. But have heard if i change the fluid now, it could do more damage than good. True or False? Since dealers never ask to change auto fluid!

    • @WholesaleAutomatics
      @WholesaleAutomatics  Год назад

      No such thing as a sealed for life transmission, that just means no dip stick (fill and check from under the car) and the dealer doesn't include in the service schedule so the services are cheaper. We recommend all transmissions are serviced every 40,000kms.

    What do you think of adding a inline spin on filter kit. The filter is about 20 to 30 micron engine oil filter. One brand is by B&M racing. Thank you from Thailand.

      Not really required for the more modern autos but you can do as it won't hurt anything.

      While there are slight differnces the scan gauge will work as long as you have the transmission temp as the highlighted item all the time otherwise useless.

    Se le puede colocar a una Toyota prado 150 con caja de 5 velocidades una caja de 6 velocidades?

    • @WholesaleAutomatics
      @WholesaleAutomatics  7 месяцев назад

      La conversión de 5 velocidades a 6 velocidades es muy difícil y también muy costosa, sería mucho más barato vender el auto y comprar un modelo posterior que ya tenga la transmisión de 6 velocidades.

      While it can be done, the cost to do so is far more expensive than just replacing the car with the same model Hilux that is already factory auto.
